summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. 夏天，悬铃木伸出宽大的叶子，在校园上空撑开了一把巨伞，遮住了刺眼的阳光。抬头一望，绿色一片。顿时，空气仿佛凝固了，时间好像停止了，同学们似乎都不动了，原来，世间万物都被这美丽的景色所惊呆了!
再来说说秋天吧!所有的树叶仿佛都被施了魔法一样，一转眼，颜色全变了。枯黄的树叶从空中慢悠悠的随风飘落，犹如上万只枯叶蝶从空中飞落下来。不过，有些叶子还是呈绿色的。黄黄绿绿的树叶错杂在一起，看上去，也算是一幅美丽的图画哦!还有些许的树叶落在了池塘里，它们就像是一艘艘小船，承载着人们的美好祝愿，驶向远方!
不光是秋天，冬天也给人们带来梦幻般的感觉。雪不停地下着，落在了老师们的车子上，简直就是个奶油大面包。雪还落在了大地上，为大地穿上了一件厚厚的棉袄。看，树上也积满了洁白无瑕的雪花，像柳絮一样的雪，像盐沫一样的雪，带给了我梦幻，更是带给了我快乐!

终于放暑假了，真让人开心，可是在开心，暑假也还是要继续学习的，明年就要升六年级了，据我所知，六年级的学习是很艰苦了，而且六年级过去后就要小升初了，所以我时刻都不能放松对自己的要求。
可是电脑实在是太好玩了，我过了一会儿就要玩一玩游戏，爸爸见我这样，便给我定了一条规定：每天都要发表一篇文章，如果不写，爸爸看不到我的文章，就不许我玩游戏。我想：“也好，不但锻炼了我的写作水平，而且王老师本来就叫每天写一篇，我就照日记的样子写不就行了吗?反正一篇文章又不可能把我的脑细胞全部用光，又能在写好的情况下玩游戏，我就算打23小时，只要我说‘我作文已经写好了’不就可以玩了吗?”
不行，这是不行的，我就是写100篇文章一天也不能玩超过2小时，我还是小孩，不能长时间坐在电脑前，这样既伤害了视力，又没意思，玩玩就够了。何况我还要睡觉、吃饭、做作业……为了玩电脑而连基本的生活顺序都打乱了，我也不想啊。
暑假，我打算把一天分两半，12小时工作，12小时睡觉。工作我打算做作业2小时，玩1小时(1小时多，练二胡1小时(几十分钟，午觉3小时，外出逛街3小时，剩下2小时就是吃饭了，每顿40分钟。
我的计划不错吧，希望大家多提意见!

我的老家在双龙山山脚下的旁边，那儿风景优美，物产丰富，是个值得观赏的风景区。
双龙山的水库五光十色，瑰丽无比：淡红的、土黄的、湖蓝的、翠绿的。所有的颜色相互交错着，变成了像彩虹一样的颜色：红、橙、黄、绿、青、蓝、紫这七种艳丽的颜色在水面上闪闪发光，像钻石一样。
水库的旁边有很多电线，但是，那不是普通的电线。电线立在岸上，像个变形金刚。“变形金刚”上，还有一些电线。那个电线，把“变形金刚”装饰了“戴眼镜的变形金刚”，真是太酷了！
在双龙山前，有一条小河，岸上有一群鸭子。我一不小心打了个喷嚏，鸭子们就陆续地下了河。伯伯家养了各种各样的牛蛙。一个帐蓬里就大约有一万多只牛蛙。它们有的在水里快活地游泳；有的踩在别的牛蛙身上跳；有的在原地一动不动的牛蛙，嘴里在吐泡泡。各种各样的牛蛙多得数不清。
老家边上长着茂密的树。碧绿的枝连成一片，就像叶的海洋，我们在里面游荡，好像迷路了一样。
我们又看见了一棵枫丹树，我品尝到了酸甜可口的枫丹。田野上有一堆稻草像门一样，躺在上面很软，很舒适。
双龙山物产丰富，风景优美。寒假的时候，我也要去那儿游玩。
