我们一大早乘着空调客车来到令我心驰神往的万里长城。一下车，眼前巍峨挺峻的长城令我折服。远看长城，它像一条长龙，在崇山峻岭之间蜿蜒盘旋。这一段长城修筑在八达岭上，高大坚固，是用巨大的条石和城砖筑成的。我们豪情满怀，站在长城下，踏着脚下的方砖，扶着墙上的条石，一步一步向上走。阶梯越来越陡，可以说令人两眼发直，我和妈妈走在“前方战线”，到第二个烽火台时，我们进入了一座方形的城台，是屯兵的堡。打仗的时候，城台之间可以互相呼应。继续前进，“悬崖峭壁”般的方砖令人望而生畏，真是“别开生面”呀！城墙顶上铺着方砖，十分平整；城墙外沿有两米多高的成排的垛子，垛子上有方形的瞭望口和射口，供瞭望和射击用。

乘坐了七八个小时的'汽车，我们终于赶到了北京科技博物馆，里面的科技产品真是稀奇古怪、应有尽有呀！最让我念念不忘的便是那些恐龙的骨架，那么高，那么壮，让人感到一丝恐惧感。科技馆的二楼里面有一些模拟的虚幻世界：划船、开飞机、坐动车等一系列有趣好玩的游戏。鸟巢与水立方就在不远的地方，所以我们观看完科技馆后便去了那里。一见到鸟巢，就感觉到有一种自豪感。鸟巢的穿插结构非常明显，一看就知道是费了很多的心思才建筑出来这样宏伟而壮观的景象。水立方就在鸟巢的旁边，它形似泡沫，真是不缺少奇思妙想呀！
刚来到北京的第一天，就感到祖国的发展日新月异，每天都不断在改变，不断在进步。接下来，还不知道有什么惊喜在等着我呢！
