《狼王梦》以母狼紫岚为主角，讲失去了伴侣的母狼紫岚在广袤的尕玛尔草原上，一场飞砂走石的大暴雨中，在与猎狗的厮***中艰难产下五只小狼崽，而其中一只刚出生的小狼崽在受到暴雨的侵袭后死去，紫岚倾注了全部心血来培养这四个狼崽。为了下一代，为了实现狼王的梦想，紫岚对四只狼在庆祝了全部的母爱。
这本书让我感受到了母爱的伟大，然而，给与我更深刻启发与触动的，是人类的思索方式。我静静的想了。
换一个角度去想，我们会发现，平时我们憎恨的、狼生存的概念——活着就是一匹狼，死了就是一堆肉。这个理念或许对于人类来说不近人情，可却符合狼情。正如紫岚所想——对死者废物利用，拯救众多活着的生命，或许还是一种慈悲呢！
以前，我憎恨狼，总感觉它透着一股***气。并出奇地喜欢猎手那种豪爽的风格。但现在，我就连看到屠夫***鸡都都感到残忍。人类啊人类！难道，你们就为了一顿美餐，一张珍贵的.狼皮，而残***一个生命吗？如果你们无缘无故被一个生命残害，你们会愿意吗？你们的灵魂会愿意吗？
