首先，老师在黑板上写好讨论会的题目，然后派两个代表抽签。我们的代表抽到反方。只听老师一声令下，激烈的讨论会便开始了。正方先发言，刚一开始，就给了我们一个下马威，说：“刘开渠说过，书是人类精神文明的结晶。的确，书籍是人类在经过不断探索`实践`创新的过程中知识的总结。我们不懂`不知道的东西可以从书中获取，它能使我们增长知识，开阔视野，它是获取知识的重要途径。”正方的观众奉送有的鼓掌，有的拍桌子，有的欢呼起来。
我们反方也不甘示弱，反驳说：“刘向说过，书犹药也，那么药肯定有两种，一种是良药，而另一种则是毒药，良药可以伴你前行，而毒药则会使你看少儿不宜的书，不能自拔。”我方同学更使劲鼓掌。
正方又反驳道：“我们已经XX年级了，有自控能力，所以我们认为开卷有益。”正方观众们又鼓起了掌。
我方毫不气馁，说：“有些同学，不会选择时间看，上课看闲书，导致学习成绩下降。”
老师部：“谁呀！”
我方同学一下子转过身，边指边说：“潘xx！”
激烈的讨论会就在我们的欢呼声中结束了。我总结了一下，如果要真正实现“开卷有益”的话，只有明确目的，有选择地读，还要注意读书的方法才行。

那么是否开卷真的有益呢？这里我就想和大家探讨一下我个人的观点。我个人认为，开卷即有好处也有坏处。如果你只是一味盲目的去开卷，那么得到的结果肯定是事倍功半，害多益少。但当你带着发掘的眼睛，以沉静的心态去挑选自己所应该看的书籍，当然这些书必须是对你学习有所帮助的，对你生活有所启迪的，那么你得到的效果肯定是事半功倍的。
其实好书无处不在，只是你缺少了一双发现的眼睛。尤其是当今时代，什么书都能在世面广为流传的情况下我们更应该谨慎择书，但这也跟你个人有很大的关系，就比如高尚的人看了些歪门邪道的书，还是能受益，而那些低下的人就算看了正书他也会别有用心。就比如说我曾经听到一则故事，孔雀吃了毒虫，它的羽毛竟然变得又有光泽又靓丽，这倒让我很是吃惊，所以这里我们还是不得不牵扯到一个词----心态
是的不论你想干什么，唯有你放松心态，才能正确前行。
从小我们就听到一些耳熟能详的话“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”“开卷必有益”，我不敢枉自评论的说这些说法都是错的，但自然，我也敢肯定的说这些不一定是对的。好书的确对大家有益，我相信这些大家都能理解，但是对于那些歪门邪道的书呢？作为平凡的我们是否读了就真的有益呢？这个相信不用，我说大家都能猜测到结果：未必有益！
书是人类智慧的结晶，书是人类历史的总结，书是社会生活的反映。读书可以彻悟人生的意义，读书可以洞晓世事沧桑，读书可以广济天下民众，读书可以步入智慧的殿堂。自古以来，人欲成才，士欲济世，务必读书。只有饱览群书，方可成人成才，这些我都不反对。因为书籍确实是人类进步的阶梯。如果没有书籍的相伴，那么我们何以开启启蒙之旅？但前提是这些必须是益书。就举一个简单的例子，大家都知道虫子无非就分两种：害虫和益虫。既然虫子都尚可分为害虫和益虫，更何况书籍呢！
现在的女孩子都喜欢言情小说，看什么霸道总裁！而男孩子就喜欢看武侠小说，玄幻恋情！那这是为什么呢？因为他们的.内心都期待着一份完美的爱情，女孩子有美妙的爱情梦，她们渴望在婚姻中得到逆袭，生活中得到关注。而男孩子只是想成为英雄，尽管在现实生活中他们是沉默的，可在小说里他们却是放荡不羁的，他们可以cos各种角色，甚至是称王称霸，然而这些都是现实社会所不能给予的，他们唯有在小说里才能找到那么一丢丢的安慰感，因为那里是他们的世界，他们才是王者。
那么就如上述所说的言情小说，武侠玄幻大剧，是否开卷有益呢？这里我就不得不跟大家掰扯一下现代社会了，就比如说现代影视界，他们可谓是无情不言，无言不剧，青春爱情的结局永远是观众所喜爱的。这是所谓的电视剧，还不是这些杂七杂八的电视剧全是由小说所拍出的，他们才是真正的爱情启蒙。是不是对于现代女性没有看过几本言情小说，人家都会以为你是白痴。我个人认为，它们符合现代发展的潮流，至于它们是否推进了社会的发展，这我就不得而为之了。但我敢肯定的是，它们是未必有益的。
开卷未必有益，已成为当下一个热议的话题。人们甚至都在苦恼应该读什么书，什么书才是最好的，但开卷是否有益的前提在于你是否开了卷，如果你卷都未开，何来开卷有益呢？因为在你未打开卷之前，你开卷有益的前提都不具备，那自然开卷有不有益，也与你无关。
总之，择好书，会看书，开卷自然有益！
