我的爸爸是本城较为权威的精神科医生之一，也是我心中最乐观善良的爸爸。他从未像别的父亲一样给我讲过童话，他为我讲述的全是真实的故事，有关于生活的故事。
这些故事之中有的。曾经有个女孩，患有家族遗传的`抑郁症。她幼时亲眼目睹了祖母、父亲先后因这种疾病而忍受巨大的痛苦，甚至自***。她深知只有与命运斗争才能避免悲剧在她身上重现。于是她做出了人生中的重要选择，在周围人异样的眼光下主动入院进行治疗。在选择时，她是矛盾的，但为了将来，她选择了治疗；在治疗时，她是痛苦的，她必须克制自己以获新生。终于，在她的积极配合下，她克服了一切障碍，超越了自己。她用春草一般的顽强、向上迎来了属于自己的春天。
这些故事中也不乏带有悲剧性质的。有一个久患精神分裂症的男子，心中总是抵触医院、抵触医生。在他的眼中，自己是健康的，是其他人在陷害他。尽管每周进行心理治疗，但已经没有什么能够打开他的心。某一天的晚上，他打开家门就再也没有回去，沉入了家门口冰冷的河水中。他一步步亲自断送了人生。

心态造就生活。爸爸如是说。
其实爸爸本身也是个故事，他也曾被命运戏弄。这个农村年轻人在凭自己的努力考上大学当上医生，意气风发时，最宠爱他的母亲突然去世，而他还没能为母亲尽一点孝。在后悔和悲伤中，他觉悟了，他要努力工作，不能再错过他的父亲。然而命运再一次和他开了个玩笑。
年轻力壮的他无缘无故患上了肺结核。心中的意志使他顽强地抵抗着病魔的侵袭。终日的咳嗽击不败他；夜夜的咳血打不倒他。他告诉自己，他必须坚强！利用病假的时间，他继续学习。他提醒自己：塞翁失马焉知非福？终于，一年半后，他病愈返回岗位。他不在意在别人有色眼镜后犀利的眼光，在异乡的医院默默奋斗。他要珍惜来之不易的工作，发挥自己的能力帮助陷入困境的他人在他的努力下，他的生活迈进正轨，一点点靠近幸福。直至如今，他仍不忘时常对自己也是对身边的每个人说；工作着是快乐的，活着是快乐的。
爸爸用他的一言一行感染着我，我也懂得如何去面对波澜起伏的生活。
没错，生活会给我们惊涛骇浪、高山险谷，或许会沉没，或许会跌落。但能否跨越这一切，全在于自己。倘若一味逃避、退缩，那只有消失在众生中，成为时间的炮灰：倘若勇敢抬头、前进，那就会克服险阻，闪耀在幸福国度。
