今天妈妈和弟弟出去买菜，回到家在菜叶上发现了一只蜗牛，把这只蜗牛放在了花盆里。我刚回到家，弟弟和我说：“蜗牛，蜗牛……”我接着在我家花盆里就找到了一只蜗牛，并给他起名叫——小蜗。
那顽皮的蜗牛背着一个重重的壳，那是一个很漂亮的“小房子”。小蜗的 “小房子”是螺旋形的，它的壳是棕色和黑色结合的，壳下便是他那柔软的身体，没有一根骨骼，全身都是肉身体上有触角、口、头、腹、眼等部位。我拿放大镜搜遍小蜗的身体，我才看见在它的触角上，有一对小小的眼睛，不仔细看真看不出来。它的头上有两对触角，这对它来说十分重要，就像盲人的.拐仗，能够起到探路的作用。用手轻轻触碰或用风吹它的触角，它的触角就会像含羞草一样在瞬间缩回去。反应相当灵敏。小蜗的胆子比老鼠都小，我不小心碰了小蜗身子一下，他像闪电般地钻进自己的“小房子”里去了。蜗牛每天只活动四到五小时，每分钟只爬二至三厘米，只能存活六个月，可它却是第二个赤手空拳登上埃及金字塔的动物。146米高的金字塔路上写满了这只小蜗牛毕身历经千难万险的足迹。
我突然来了好奇心，蜗牛到底有没有嘴巴呢？我看了半天也没有看到，于是就上网查了资料。原来，在蜗牛的小触角中间往下一点儿的地方有一个小洞，这就是它的嘴巴，里面有一条锯齿状的舌头，科学家们称之为“齿舌”。齿舌的表面就像擦姜末用的锉板一样，有一些角质的小齿整整齐齐地排列着。蜗牛吃东西的时候就用这把“小锉板”把植物的叶子磨碎，再一点点地吃下去。虽然它的牙齿很小，肉眼无法看到，但是却十分厉害，即便你把蜗牛放入一个比它的身体还硬的硬纸盒中，它也能咬破硬纸板爬出来。
只有风，可以穿越荆棘。只有学习风，我们才能藐视一切挫折，让痛苦烟消云散，让快乐洒满旅途！我正是知道这种风，所以迟迟不肯放下重重的壳，而是一步一步往上爬，总有一天，我会爬到终点，那里会拥有属于我的辉煌，会有人为我喝彩，会拥有属于我的天！蜗牛也可以作为我们学习奋斗的吉祥物。
