小街上无时无刻不发生着有趣的事情。什么张三的店铺被贴上了画条，什么李四的门面被小孩子乱画。东边路口是小朋友们聚集处，没有课业负担的他们在那儿愉快的玩耍。那时没有什么智能手机，与孩子们相伴的是沙包，皮球。小街上也随时上映着温情的画面：迟缓慢行的老人总有热心人上前搀扶，哭泣无措的小孩总有好心人安抚照顾……一幅幅暖人的画面为小街增添着爱与温暖。
每次写完作业后，我都会约着好友上街去玩：去小商店买东西，去街旁边的篮球场打篮球，去街尽头的小公园里玩捉迷藏，去街上一起无忧无虑地滑滑板。童年里，那一切美好的回忆都附在这热闹的小街上。那时的天很蓝，云很轻，阳光祥和，照在脸上很暖和，生活很简单……
今天，当我再次走过那条街，一切早已改变：曾经的小卖部已然变成了一个大型购物中心，小街两旁的小屋早已变成高耸的大楼，窄小的路变得宽阔，孩子们的乐土被修成了停车场，路旁赫然标识着“孩童不许在此玩耍”……街市还是繁华，但人心不再依旧。
天空似乎也不再蓝，而是常常被阴霾所遮挡;风儿带来的不再是清爽，而是灰尘;高新技术的引入，方便了生活，却使人们变得懒散。如今，回想起曾经的那条街，心中满是难忘与不舍。那些烟火的日常与朴素的热闹似乎已经随着社会的进步而消失，而我，总在微风吹过时将它想起。
我们常常怀念过去的日子，不是因为那段日子比现在的要美好，而是因为那时的我们如此青涩与美好、幸福而单纯。我们有理由去憧憬更灿烂的未来，但我们更有理由去铭记那条街带给我们的那些朴实与温馨。
