《食女》（ 喰女 -クイメ-）剧情取自日本江户时代的民间传说《四谷怪谈》，是日本最著名的歌舞伎表演故事之一。
看《食女》，私认为得知道日本一个著名的怪事。《四谷怪谈》取自民间传说，在日本有着180多年的历史，被奉为经典的怪谈，在第一次被搬上舞台后的第四年文政12年，作者鹤屋南北世，他死后的第二年其子女以及参与此剧的11人在5年间相继死亡。而以后只要翻拍此剧，就总是有古怪的事发生，拍前参拜阿岩的稻荷神社成了不成文的规定。
而《食女》这部电影，似乎也讲述了这个怪事。参加排演《四谷怪谈》的演员们身上仿佛受到了诅咒，与阿岩相似的命运在饰演女主阿岩的当红女演员后藤美雪身上交叠。在歌舞伎《四谷怪谈》里饰演阿岩的藤美雪发现了男友浩介的出轨与背叛。浩介因为美雪的推荐，才得到了《四谷怪谈》男主角伊右卫门的角色，这与四谷怪谈中阿岩和伊右卫门的情况何其相似。美雪在生活中处处照顾浩介，在工作上也时时提醒浩介抓住机遇，但是即使这样，浩介也并不知珍惜，花心依旧，只要是相关的女演员，抓住机会他都会调戏一番。所以当女二号、在歌舞伎中扮演“梅”的女演员主动送上门时，他想都没想就接受了橄榄枝。女二号家境殷实，能带给浩介更大的前途，这点与《四谷怪谈》中伊右卫门和阿梅的关系也十分相似。
相似的命运一旦交叠，命运的轮回也必将发生。
意识到浩介出轨的.美雪，似乎不堪打击，被心魔占据，几近疯癫。虽然美雪并未***，但她像被阿岩附身一般认为自己有了孩子，竟然还用叉子试图从yin道中插出孩子。稚子为食、砍掉爱人的头颅来复仇，美雪走上了阿岩的复仇之路。至于***死浩介的到底是美雪，还是复仇百年的阿岩，谁又说得清呢？
这部《食女》如果不了解《四谷怪谈》在日本的传奇背景，多半会有一个多小时看不懂。最后20分钟开始高潮迭起，但是如果不知道《四谷怪谈》，依然不明逻辑。电影虽然以做 爱开篇，但并不情色，建议不要当做电影来看，当做舞台剧看1个小时，然后当做电影看另一个小时。
剧中剧的舞台剧华美异常，从灯光、服装，到背景布幕，堪称完美。人物表情细节的展现和捕捉、配乐的氛围烘托、灯光的效果，简直登峰造极。这部分内容不要嫌弃情节缓慢，耐住性子看，是绝对的艺术品，值得享用。
另外很多人觉得这部片子很女权，与《四谷怪谈》一样是在唾弃男性，不过我觉得从细节来看，导演在“鄙视”的同时也透着一种理解和同情。《食女》里歌舞伎《四谷怪谈》中，伊右卫门在遇到了阿梅这个机遇之后，对阿岩也并不全无留恋。当阿梅祖父要他入赘时，一开始他是拒绝的；他穿上了阿岩缝制的带有她八卦家徽的武士服获得官职；当他会意到阿梅乳母意图毒害阿岩时，有一瞬的不忍；当他让瞎子宅悦强占阿岩时，站在门外的他终于没有忍住，还是冲进来***了宅悦；当他***死阿岩的时候，他喊她“与奸夫通奸的妻子”。。。他终究是认为阿岩是他的。他残忍而绝情，却并不完全无情，他利用与背叛，却并不能彻底认清他自己。阿岩化作厉鬼禅上他，他说，“我就算是断了头也要活给你看”。然后阿岩便让他断了头。
同时电影里扮演伊右卫门的浩介，也并没有接受女二号的结婚邀请，他说“谁都不会幸福的。”最后那个夜晚，他半夜还是起身穿衣，开车回家。
导演三池崇史也是男人，终归是了解男人并理解男人，即使是伊右卫门和浩介这种渣男。
或许是因为我终究也是个心软的抖M，所以才会看到男人这些纠结。
又或许是因为，每个女人，都会下意识为心爱的男人那些破烂举动找无数的借口。
不过无论是《食女》还是《四谷怪谈》，最终女人都复仇成功了。尤其是《食女》最后，美雪踩着浩介的头颅笑了，那个场面简直美得安静出奇。所以三观还是对的，大概就是在说，男人们，做渣男就是这个下场哦！
所以，小心了，当我爱你，我为你付出所有。
当我恨你，你也将死无全尸。
