我的家乡——大连，是座美丽的城市。听爸爸说，以前的大连是个环境优美，空气清新的城市，空气中到处弥漫着海洋的味道，夏季的雨后，经常能看到美丽的彩虹如七彩桥一般挂在天边。我在家里看到过很多爸爸小时候的生活照片，在照片的背景中，我看到天空万里无云，马路上很少有各式各样的机动车，那时人们的交通工具主要就是靠公共汽车，环境确实比现在好多了。
现在家乡的车辆增多了，每天都有成千上万辆汽车行驶在马路上，这些汽车排放的尾气，不仅破坏了环境，同时也危害了人们的身体健康。我听广播说，汽车排放出的尾气使我们的城市变暖了，而且这些气体悬浮在城市上空很难消散，汽车尾气中还有大量的一氧化碳和二氧化碳，这些气体都是对人体有伤害的，如果被人们吸到体内，就会引起肺部的很多疾病呢。怪不得每天早上我上学的时候，天空中总是灰蒙蒙的一片，很难看到早上初升的太阳，雨后的天空中也没有彩虹，湛蓝深远的天空消失不见了，就连叽叽喳喳的小鸟也不愿意来到这样的地方，只有在儿歌中才有“太阳当空照，花儿对我笑，小鸟说……”的景象。
你知道吗，大连她在哭泣，她哭人们这样伤害她，破坏她，把她原本美丽的面貌变成了这样丑陋。我建议有车的家庭要减少车辆的使用，尽量步行或坐公交车，这样才能让我们的城市空气更清新。

改革开放三十年里，一个省、一个城市、一个家乡都发生了翻天覆地的变化。我的家乡在改革开放春风的吹拂下就发生了巨大变化。
在迁安三小上学的时候，我和爸爸每个星期六都要跑家。在路上，只要下雨，路上的雨水很快便成了一条“小河”，爸爸只好从河里开，我呢躲都来不及，结果裤子上全是泥点子，这讨厌的泥点子像个淘气的孩子一样很不听话。说实话，我真有点不想和爸爸跑家了。每次都是这样，我都厌烦了。我只好和爸爸商量：“能不能不回老家呀？”爸爸说：“爷爷年纪大了，需要人关心和照顾，路不好走也不能阻爱这份责任啊！再说你看看爷爷见你们时的高兴时候的样子，多快乐多幸福啊！”爸爸的话一下使我语塞了，从此以后，我在也不敢提这件事了。
近两年来，在建设新农村中，家乡修了一条又一条油漆马路，在回家的路上和从前的路上感觉就是不一样，从前的路上是非常颠簸的.，现在路上舒服极了，这时，我就像一只快乐的小鸟一样在天空飞翔，因为我不用担心我的裤子上溅上讨厌的泥点子了，坐在爸爸的车上，感觉就像飞一样！
还有农村实行了医疗合作制度，60岁的老人还能领到60元的养老金，而且老人们去市里还可以免费乘做公交，老百姓们得到了一定的实惠，一些老人们天天都在不停的说：“党的政策好了，咱们享福了！”
