那年冬天，我是走读生，家离学校较远，一早一晚的\'奔波也就成了麻烦事。父亲每天晚上总是按时来接我，我也不是小孩子了，主动要求早上自己走去学校。
那天早上，由于昨晚熬到深夜，我实在没法起床，眼睛不知不觉就闭上了：“快起床！不早了！”传来了父亲的敲门声。我只好起床，打开房门，一股冷风灌了进来，我不禁打了个寒颤。透过门缝我看到的是父亲的背影：瘦小的身躯，微驼的背脊……
漱洗完毕后看了看时间，只有20分钟了，怎么办，迟到了可是要挨罚的呀！没办法，我只好硬着头皮来到父亲房前：“爸，今天送我吧。”其实爸早就穿好了衣服在房间里静静的等待，似乎就等我这句话。
父亲推出摩托车，载着我驶在路上。天蒙蒙亮，连空气都是那么冰冷，两旁的冷风刮的我脸生疼。我蜷缩着身子，倚在父亲背上。父亲下意识的挺直了背，刹那间我发现父亲的背脊挺直了，宽阔的后背像一堵厚厚的墙为我挡住寒风。
到学校了，车却没油了，我和父亲对视一下，彼此无语。父亲转过身，推着车走了。我目送他走过那个拐弯之后，终于控制不住，两行热泪，悄然流了下来。泪眼朦胧中我仿佛又看到了父亲前倾着身子，推着车，在那段长长的坡路上走呀，走呀……那充满爱的后背，留在了那段长长的坡路上，留在了我的心里。
父亲的背影，寄托着父亲伟大深沉的爱。父亲，我爱你！
