我爸爸的性格有时候很严厉，有时候很温和。
当我犯错的时候，爸爸会对我大发雷霆，如果还不改，爸爸就会动鞭子了，我想：爸爸做这些都是为我好啊，我要努力学习！
当我取得好成绩的时候，爸爸就会开车送我们家去吃肯德基，有时候他累了一天下来，还要抱我，亲我。

我的爸爸个子不高，有着一头乌黑发亮的头发，浓黑而整齐的眉毛下面长着一双炯炯有神的大眼睛，高高的鼻子下还有一张大大的嘴巴。爸爸喜欢吃素菜，不太喜欢吃荤菜，所以有点瘦，妈妈常说：“你可以去做和尚了。”爸爸却说：“瘦归瘦，骨头里面长肌肉。”
爸爸工作很辛苦，他是一名IT工程师，虽然过着朝九晚五的生活，可是上班的地方有点远，他每天7点钟出门，晚上7点钟才能回来。尤其是妈妈上晚班不在家的时候，他下班回来，又要做家务又要辅导我作业。早上要给我做早饭，还要给我梳辫子，真是委屈爸爸了！
爸爸是个勤快的人，经常做家务，拖地板、洗衣服、还会做一桌美味可口的饭菜。爸爸做事很认真，也很爱干净，常常为了水池、地砖上的一点点污垢奋斗半天。
可是细心的爸爸有时也会粗心，前几天，爸爸帮我投稿参加雨花石小学生作文比赛，结果把我的名字投成了他的名字。妈妈知道后，笑着说：“爸爸要返老还童了，想再变成小学生，也想和你们小朋友一起参加比赛。”真是一个“马大哈”。

爸爸一下班，不换衣服，也不做家务，打开电脑就是玩。
记得有一天下午，我放学回家不久，爸爸就回来了。爸爸打开电脑玩了起来，我大喊：“爸爸，检查作业。”爸爸回答说：“来了。”可是，我等呀等，始终不见爸爸的.踪影。我走到书房一看，爸爸正玩得津津有味呢！“爸爸——。”我大喊一声，爸爸差点吓破了胆。爸爸只好说：“马上就来。”
作业检查完后，我对爸爸说：“爸爸，赶紧煮饭。”“哦！”爸爸说。过了半小时，我以为饭煮好了。谁知我跑到厨房一看，饭根本没煮。我怒气冲天地朝爸爸大喊：“饭、饭、饭…… ” 我大喊了10遍。爸爸好像也有点生气了，大声说道：“知道了。”他一气之下把电脑关了，去煮饭了。
还有一次，爸爸在电脑上玩“斗地主”，我在做作业，妈妈在烧菜。妈妈说：“你们谁帮我把衣服放进洗衣机？”“不行啊，妈妈，我在写作业。”我说，“爸爸，把衣服放进洗衣机里。”爸爸说：“哦。”可是等妈妈烧好菜一看，衣服还一动不动在原地。妈妈生气地说：“你就知道玩，我这么忙，你都不帮我。”说完，把电脑关了。爸爸挠挠头皮，不好意思地说:“下次……下次一定帮。”
