中国的农历新年到了。一般在国内，我们就是全家团聚，看看春节联欢晚会，然后时间很快就过去了。在加拿大，我们没有亲朋好友在这边，也不能去拜年，而且由于与国内有十三个小时的时差，看春节联欢晚会的时间是在白天，因此我们这个多伦多的新年和国内的完全不同。
农历二十七日，中国学生学者联谊会举办了春节联欢晚会，虽然节目十分不错，但是学生毕竟还是学生，时间计划及管理水平还有待提高。在我们进场的时候，管理人员不让大家进入观众席，站在走道上等了足足半个小时，进到观众席后还等了半个小时，致使原来计划时间从七点到十点的，结果变成八点开始，十一点半才结束，演唱时间也没有好好控制。有个乐队本来只唱一首曲子，却唱了四五首曲，使结束时间大大滞后，我们回到家都一点多了。
农历二十八日，教会的兄弟姐妹们邀请我们一家去包饺子，大家聊的聊，吃的吃，吃完后唱唱圣经歌，十分开心。农历二十九，我们去了CasaLoma城堡游玩，晚上与邻居举办了一个小小的聚餐活动，每家准备两三个菜，放在一起竟有一大桌，味道很不错。感觉非常温馨。
大年初一，大使馆举办了一个公派学者的聚餐，聚餐期间还有演唱活动，我勇敢地上台演唱了一曲“蝴蝶飞呀”。哈哈!我居然在多伦多登台演出了。我还参加了几个游戏，拿了不少奖品，并慷慨地将奖品分给了我们的同桌。最惊讶的是还有人找我要签名，呵呵，我那么小就当明星了!
这真是一个不同寻常的新年呀!

In the future,all electric equipment at home is under the con-trol of computers. People can learn about the situation of the house by working on the computer at the office. No people like doing housework. Maybe each family will have a robot. Every day we can tell the robot what to do-shopping,housework and so on. believe the dream will come true some day.

On the first early moring of one year， many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some house's windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.
The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days， we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time， children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents， uncles， aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

今年是20xx年，农历中的1月1日，是阳历的12月25日——今年的圣诞节和春节一起过！
圣诞节终于到了。
晚上，灯火万家，圣诞老人牵着他那圣诞鹿来到了新加坡，当然，因为新加坡也要过春节，所以，春节老人也来到了新加坡，他可是牵着一头山羊的哦！
你可能不知道春节老人的形象是怎样的，就让我来介绍一下吧——他长着一张椭圆形的脸，头上戴着一顶用红绸缎做的帽子，帽子上有一个倒福字。和蔼可亲的脸上，嘴角轻轻地向上翘，留着一个山羊胡子。身上穿着一件红色的衣服和一条红色的裤子。
圣诞老人在给我和弟弟送礼物时，春节老人也偷偷的溜进我的`房间。圣诞老人把礼物放到了我的床头，发现春节老人把两个红包放到了我和弟弟的枕头底下。
他们俩离开了，我和弟弟偷偷起身，发现他们在马路上对视良久。然后分头走开了。我和弟弟分别“跟踪”他们，过了一会儿，圣诞老人来到了一个叫hily的小女孩家里，我发现hily的家实在是太贫穷、太破烂了！圣诞老人给hily送了一棵圣诞树，树上什么都有想玩的、想穿的、想用的、想吃到醒来后把家里布置的漂漂亮亮。后来，我了解到春节老人也来过这里，不过他看见hily太穷，就没有给她快乐和幸福。我用书信的方式把这件事告诉了圣诞老人，并且告诉他：春节老人偏爱富人，对于富人，春节老人给予了块乐和幸福。
过后，圣诞老人想方设法，把春节老人约了出来。
圣诞老人说：“小孙子啊！你才多大呀？就学会偏心了？”“我都200岁了！”春节老人不耐烦“再说你又有多大呀？敢教训我？”“我都8000岁了，你偏心富人就是一个很好的例子。”过后，圣诞老人又讲了许多得道理，春节老人这才感到羞愧。
从此，春节老人和圣诞老人都怀着一颗充满爱和平等的心面对生活。
