20XX年6月1日，我很早就起床了。穿上昨晚就准备好了的衣服，吃过妈妈精心准备的早餐，我兴高采烈地来到学校。
经过其他班教室时，看见里面布置得很漂亮。我心想：我们班应该也很漂亮吧！走进教室，我不禁惊住了：教室上空对角拉起两条彩带，上面挂着许多装饰物品；前后两块黑板上画着五彩缤纷的图案；两边的玻璃窗上贴着同学们编织的手工艺品。
不一会儿，班主任赖老师笑咪M咪地走进教室，她说：“今天是你们的节日，祝你们节日快乐！我还有一个好消息告诉你们，那就是我们中山市的市长要来学校慰问大家，跟我们一起过‘六一’儿童节。”同学们立刻欢呼起来！我想，平时只是在电视和报纸上见过市长，这次总算可以亲眼看到市长了。
军号声声响，军鼓咚咚敲，同学们欢呼雀跃着：“市长来了！” 我们踮起脚、抬起头望着市长一行人走过来。市长来到我们面前，大家异口同声地说：“叔叔、阿姨好！”市长他们笑容满面地向我们点头致意。突然，大队辅导员梁老师把我和另外几个同学叫出来，说：“你们几个代表同学们去接受市长的慰问。”我们一听，高兴得跳起来。辅导员对我们交待完毕，把我们带进一个六年级的.教室里，只见陈市长正在给同学们讲话。面对这么多人，我们心里挺紧张。接着，市长要为我们赠送慰问金和礼物了。我们几个上到前台，陈市长笑盈盈地把慰问金送到我手中，我激动地说：“谢谢市长！”市长拉着我的手说：“好好学习！”并且和我们一起合影留念。此时，刚才的紧张一扫而光，我感到非常光荣，非常自豪！
“六一”很快过去了，可那天的情景一直在我脑海里浮现，我一直忘不了陈市长对我说的话。我一定会好好学习，天天向上，用最好的成绩来报答市长对我们的关心。
