爸爸答应今天带我去钓鱼，我心里别提多高兴了。吃过早饭，我们就做起了各项准备工作，整装待发。
一切准备就绪，我们来到小河边，选了一个有水草和大树的地方撒下一些鱼食。爸爸说，这种地方鱼多一些。
大概过了10分钟，爸爸说： “可以行动了，鱼儿肯定都聚拢过来了，我先钓一条大的给你看看。”只见他麻利地甩起钓竿，鱼饵划破水面，沉入水中，水面荡起一圈圈涟漪。我目不转睛地盯着，过了一会儿，爸爸拎了拎竿子，觉得下面似乎有东西。 “耶！大鱼上钩了，大鱼上钩了！”我激动地喊了起来，爸爸示意我小声点，生怕鱼儿被我吓跑了。
爸爸猛地用力一拉，只见一个黑乎乎的东西上了岸——一块破布，我捂着肚子笑令不停。爸爸像个大男孩儿一样生起气来，脸拉得老长，尴尬地说：“笑什么笑！你自己来钓！”
于是，我也学着爸爸的样子，将带有鱼饵的钓竿向河面抛去。可是，一阵风吹来，鱼线被吹到河岸边一棵柳树的枝条上。费了九牛二虎之力，我和爸爸才弄下来。
“钓鱼最能陶冶一个人的心性，最要不得心浮气躁……”听了爸爸的话，我决定再试一次。鱼饵再次沉入水底，我的眼睛一眨不眨地盯着浮标，一分钟、两分钟……我手心渐渐渗出汗。我心想：鱼儿，鱼儿，你快点上钩吧。
终于，鱼线上的浮标猛地往下一沉，爸爸示意我收竿。我轻轻地将钓竿往上提了提，只见一条小鱼浮出水面，跳着、挣扎着，爸爸一把抓过钓竿，“嗖——”鱼儿上了岸。
