我们每人都派出了自己的“运动牛”上场，自己在一旁当起了啦啦队。我们还为各自的蜗牛取了个名字，我的蜗牛叫“爬如风”，张名先的蜗牛叫“快如闪”，而林道良的蜗牛叫“行如飞”。
一声令下，爬行比赛开始了。我们把各自的蜗牛放在起跑线上，可它们一动也不动。我们在旁边大声为它们助威：“快跑，加油呀！不要输在起跑线上。”过了一会儿，它们才慢吞吞地爬行起来。
唉，蜗牛就是蜗牛，每爬一步都要歇一会儿。咦，“快如闪”怎么爬到赛道旁的木棍上去了？这下可把张名先吓坏了，他赶忙拿了根小木棍，把“快如闪”放回了赛道上。
真是“一波未平一波又起”呀。“快如闪”一回到赛道上，我的'“爬如风”就罢工了，停在赛道上不爬了。我找来一根木棍，敲了敲它的壳，可它还不动。我找来一片菜叶，放在“爬如风”面前。果然，它这个小馋嘴闻到菜的味道，向前爬动了起来。
时间一分一秒地过去了，我的蜗牛“爬如风”第一个冲过了终点，成为了冠军。不久，“快如闪”也一步三回头地爬过了终点。最后“行如风”也爬过了终点。
这次比赛不仅有趣，还让我懂得了一个道理：只要坚持一个目标前进，就一定会成功。

赛前，我们规定了比赛规则，就是：谁的'蜗牛最先爬到终点就为胜，任何人不得用手抓或竹杆撇，谁违反了比赛规则，谁就算输。
我们每人都派出了自己最强的“运动员”上阵，自己在一旁当起了“啦啦队”。我们各自为自己的蜗牛起了个有趣而又好听的名字，我的蜗牛名叫“爬如风”，林启惠的叫“快如闪”，何玉洁的叫“行如飞”。
一声令下，蜗牛大赛开始了。我们各自把自己的蜗牛放置到指定的位置，然后在一旁喊“加油！加油”，可是蜗牛老半天不动，我们在一边干着急。过了好一会儿，我们发现蜗牛开始爬动了，可是我的“爬如风”怎么跑到“快如闪”的跑道上去了，“回去，回去！”我拼命地叫喊着，几乎忘记了自己和蜗牛的语言是不能相通的，我的嗓子都叫哑了，还是无济于事。蜗牛在爬行中搅到了一起，好像再也不前进了，还好没过多久它们又分开了。
“怎样才能使它们能够按照我们规定的线路爬行呢？”我苦苦思考着……突然，我眼睛一亮，有了！我找来了四根小木棍，摆好三条跑道，蜗牛爬一段，我们就把木棍往前移一下。真是气死人啦，蜗牛就是蜗牛，它们爬得真慢，好像它们每爬一步都要停下来歇一歇。
没爬多远，“快如闪”却爬到木棍上去了，林启惠怕犯规，又怕动了自己的蜗牛它会缩回去不动了，所以只能在一旁乱叫“快回去，快回去！”我则用一根木棍挡在“快如闪”前面，只见“快如闪”用触须碰了碰木棍，最后终于转到自己的跑道上，又开始艰难地向前爬行。
瞧！何玉洁的“行如飞”趴在跑道上偷懒了，它一动不动，何玉洁只好用木棍在她的“行如飞”背上轻轻地碰一碰，但蜗牛还是不动。我想这样不是办法，就去找来一片菜叶，放在离“行如飞”不远的地方。“行如飞”好像闻到了菜叶的味道，果然动了，它像小馋嘴一样向菜叶的方向爬去，我觉得真有趣！
时间一分一秒地过去，也不知过了多久，我的那只“爬如风”终于快接近终点，可这时它却停了下来。眼看着“快如闪”就要跟上来了，我心里又着急起来了，继续在一旁叫着“加油”。“爬如风”歇了一阵后又起步了，它慢吞吞地总算爬过了我们预先指定的终点。我高兴地叫了起来：“我赢了！我赢了！”紧接着“快如闪”也一步三回头地过了终点，最后只剩下“行如飞”还离终点有一段距离，我们都为它加油。不知小蜗牛是否听懂了我们的话，又一步一步地向前爬去……
趣味蜗牛爬行赛结束了，但比赛的场景却一直浮现在我的眼前。蜗牛的爬行虽然很慢，但它坚持一个方向不放弃，终于到达了终点。从这次玩耍中，我认识到只要我们抱定一个目标不断努力，最终就会取得胜利。
