整个城市充满了绿的气息。长长的马路中央一条条绿化带里一棵棵绿叶繁茂的树显得那么生机勃勃，它们像一个个士兵一样庄严的立着。翠绿的枝叶在阳光的照耀下熠熠生辉，它们绿得那样新鲜耀眼。微风拂过叶子漾起阵阵绿波，好看极了。树旁的花草、蜜蜂、蝴蝶都像赶集似的聚拢来共同组成一道宁德亮丽的风景线。
郊外的绿比起城市的绿更有一番风味。山上的树木茂盛，四季常绿。登高远眺，就像一片绿色的海洋，波浪此起彼伏。
田野里金黄的稻谷欢笑着，一层赶着一层涌向远方，发出“沙沙”的响声，它们像在为家乡歌唱。
城里郊外到处是欢声笑语，到处是绿意盎然，到处是生机勃勃。这就是我的家乡--宁德，一个充满绿的城市。

我的家乡--宁德，是一个美丽、富饶的城市。
早晨，我来到宁德市区西南郊，方圆十几千米，有开发于宋代的南际山，是闽东的一具旅游胜地。
站在南际山脚下，首先映入眼帘的是那壮观的“南际飞淙”据说若是雨过天晴，风和日丽，隐约可见飞流中有一位相貌堂堂的秀才和一位长发披肩的少女在窃窃私语，又称“夫妻瀑布，”此外，还可以清晰地看到白鹤岭古道景观。白鹤岭古道是古代通往省城的大路。岭道峡谷侧崖石上留有明、清、民国期间的名人手迹20多处。南际山还有石门双峡，龙湫寺等景观，我还没有看够 ，但是双脚早已情不自禁的沿着曲折蜿蜒的石阶抬级而上。我来到山顶上，只见大街上人来人往、川流不息，像一群群小蚂蚁在地上走动。市场上卖的蔬菜和水果颜色各不相同，好像一幅水彩画……
太阳落山了，天色暗了下来。一会儿，这儿亮一盏灯，那儿亮一盏灯，慢慢的，亮起的灯光成了一条条盘旋的龙，很快，宁德成了灯的海洋。远处，高速公路上穿梭的车辆，像一只只繁忙的萤火虫。那灯光像一支歌、一首诗……
看着，看着，我想起景色秀丽的瀛洲。瀛洲有奇特的建筑。古老的村庄在陡峭的石壁上，红漆木屋鳞次栉比。村前是碧潭，村后靠峭崖。驻足远眺，古朴的.房屋倒映在碧绿的水中，水上水下各有一个村庄，又与蓝天白云，水光山色融合在一起，互相映衬，恰似海市蜃楼。村前透明的像白带子的溪流在阳光下闪闪烁烁奔东而去。沿溪两岸，古木参天，林间动物出没，鸟儿在天上快乐地飞，到处花儿竟相开放。“勒马回朝”“金钟覆地”“双虹饮涧”“八仙歇岩”，等等胜景，好像一颗颗雪白的珍珠闪烁在青山绿水间。游人乘木筏顺流而下，时而水平如镜，时而急流险滩，虽有惊而无险。瀛洲人个个都有独木冲浪的本事，就连六、七岁的儿童也能轻快地站在一根椭圆的木上，就凭一根竹竿，声东击西，闯过急流险滩。著名作家谢冰心题字的摩崖石刻“惊水瀛洲”写的就是游人乘筏时的心境。革命战争年代在瀛洲下的遗迹有许多。有“花篮渡”“仙人洞 ……”
我相信未来的宁德会被我们改造得更美好!

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.
On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the light at two o'clock,and most of them are awake by six o'clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At about one o'clock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

我的家乡还有很多风景名胜。青城山，它是一座道教名山。都江堰水利工程，从两千年前至今还在为人民的农业生产造福。乐山大佛，它是一尊唐代石刻佛像，它坐落在乐山市凌云山已经一千多年了。还有佛教名山峨眉山。传说山上住着一位佛祖叫文殊菩萨。
四川还出了许多名人。比如秦朝的蜀郡太守李冰和他的儿子率领大家修建了世界闻名的水利工程，造福千秋万代。杜甫在四川成都写下了许多千古名句，其中有“窗含西岭千秋雪，门泊东吴万里船。”，“晓看红湿处，花重锦官城。”等等。现代的***爷爷，他是改革开放的总设计师，带领中国人民致富奔小康。袁隆平创造了良种杂交水稻，使人民摆脱了饥饿，我们给他取了一个名字叫“水稻之父”。还有年轻人追捧的明星偶像李宇春，她代表着朝气和时尚。
我的家乡有独特的风土人情和这么多的风景名胜，还出了许多有贡献的名人。我为我的家乡感到自豪。
