On summer holiday my parents took me to Beijing. We stayed at Huabei Hotel. On the first day, we went to the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very long and old. It has millions of bricks. Each brick is very big and heavy. Lots of people from different countries like climbing the Great Wall. We felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the Great Wall.
We also went to the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum has 9999 palaces. It has a very long history. I bought a lot of souvenirs of the Palace Museum. What nice palaces these are! I visited the Palace Museum and felt excited. If you want to know more about the Palace Museum, you can go to Beijing and have a look. The following days, we went to the Summer Palace, Tian Tan, North Lake and Xiang Hill. I now know more about the history of China. I also like modern Beijing. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.
Later, I went back with my parents by train. I really enjoyed the trip to Beijing. I like this trip!

15日上午，我怀着激动的心情准备考试了，三年级的小同学也都进来坐好了。我们的已经提前都好了，虽然我考得还可以，但我心里还是没底，特别是今天要考的基础和阅读，不知道考不考得好。等老师将试卷发了下来，我一看，觉得这次阅读比较简单，基础题也不难，于是我“唦唦唦”地做了起来，刚才的紧张一下子没有了。
时间过得真快，不知不觉结束的铃声响了，我长长地出了一口气，觉得自己考得还不错。脸上也马上现出了笑容。下午紧张的数学复习是在我快乐的心情中度过的。
第二天上午考数学，我最怕应用题，时间似乎不够，但还是给我做完了，心里总觉得有几道应用题错了，检查却不知从何查起，时间不多了，我也来不及多想，就看了一遍，以为满满的总会得A了吧。
考试结束后，我跟同学们一对题目，发现我有两道题错了，这时后悔也来不及了，心想这回又要挨骂了，爸爸许诺的奖励也泡汤了。唉，看来寒假里还得好好地复习一下，再多花点时间学习了。

饭后，我坐在院子里，仰头观看满天的繁星。晴朗的夜空，星光闪烁，我被这密密麻麻的繁星陶醉了。
深蓝色的天空，星光灿烂，像一个巨大的棋盘里布满了棋子。群星又像调皮的孩子，不停地向我眨眼。
冷眼一看，星星显得很乱但你仔细看一下就会发现，它们在天空各有各的位置，形成了许多有趣的图案。你看北边天空的那个猎户座，组成一个猎手，手举棒子，弯腿弓要腰，上身前倾，领着凶猛的猎狗在与金牛格斗呀。你再看东边那两颗星星组成的眉清目秀的姑娘，手拿麦穗，好像在享受丰收的喜悦呢。还有许多星座，它们有的像勺子，有的像骏马，有的像……它们把天空点缀得格外美丽。
望着美丽的星星，我想起了奶奶说过的话：“地上有多少人，天上就有多少星。每个人都有自己的星。心地善良有贡献的人的星亮，坏人的星暗。”我不晓得人和星星的暗与亮有没有关系。如果有关系，我一定要做一个心地善良的好人，让我那颗星星更亮，把光明无私地献给人间！
