西安是我的家乡，她是中国七大古都之一。中国历史上有名的秦、汉、隋、唐等12个王朝在此建都。著名的古“丝绸之路”，就是以西安为起点的。西安以它的悠久的历史、灿烂的文化，成为举世瞩目的历史名城。
先说城中心的钟楼，因其楼上有一口大钟，每日击钟报时，故称钟楼。钟楼基座为正方形，青砖砌成，楼为砖木结构重楼。三层青绿色的屋檐的四角上翘着，上面有八只精致的木雕小兽，十分逼真。檐上檐下有古铜色的木雕，人物花鸟，惟妙惟肖。楼层之间的红柱、红色的门窗与黄色的墙壁配在一起，显得很漂亮。最妙的是楼顶的葫芦上巧夺天工地镀上了一层极其微薄的金箔，在阳光的映照下闪闪发光。远远望去，钟楼古朴、庄重、宏伟、壮观。
围着钟楼的，就是我国目前保存比较完整的`古代城堡建筑—西安城墙。城墙非常高大、坚固，周长14千米，四面各有一个城门，门上有正楼、箭楼、胭楼，异常壮观。城墙高12米，顶宽12—14米，底厚15—18米。墙面用青砖包砌，城四角都有角楼，并有墩楼98座，构成一个严密的防御体系。
鸟瞰城南，最引人注目的是大小雁塔。大雁塔位于西安城南偏东4千米处，是专为保藏玄类从印度等国带回的佛教经典而建筑的。大雁塔高64米，共7层，呈方形角锥状。塔身由青砖砌成，各层都有柱子、牌坊、栏额等仿木结构，每层四面都有拱门，塔内有楼梯可盘旋而上，塔尖是葫芦状的。坐落在城南的小雁塔比大雁塔略小，是密檐式砖结构建筑，共15层。明朝时因地震塔顶被震坍，现在只有12层完好，高43米。塔层越高，高度越小，到12层已只有半人多高，要是到15层，还不得爬着走？
西安的名胜古迹、文化艺术珍品数不胜数。以碑石精华荟粹而闻名中外的西安碑林，中国帝王陵园中面积最大的、陪葬墓最多的昭陵，被称为世界八大奇迹之一的秦代雕塑艺术宝库—秦兵马俑，形象逼真的大型石刻群乾陵，风景秀丽、亭阁华丽、温泉潺潺的华清池等，是其中的精华。

你们知道秦始皇的千军万马在哪里吗？你们知道十三朝古都在哪里吗？你们知道羊肉串最好吃的地方吗？那里就是—西安！
我们一下飞机就直奔秦岭，那山上满是鲜草，连一点儿缝隙都没有，我们的车停在了九龙潭。我们看到了清澈无比的溪水，我们又玩了抓鱼、扔石头。我看到的石头当然是各式各样的，有的像蘑菇，有的像鸡蛋等等。
当我们玩完水之后，大家的肚子都饿了，找到了一家农家乐。那路边上种满了毛豆，我们还摘了一些。板栗炖土鸡真好吃，妈妈笑我把带肉的鸡块全吃光了。吃完饭后，我找了一个木棒，又找了一块土地，在上面刻了“许立人到此一游”就欢欢喜喜地走了。
第二天一早，我们就和婶婶一家去观看壶口瀑布。它在延安市，是黄河上著名的大瀑布。站在岸边，目睹巨浪翻滚，耳闻涛声如雷，真是久闻不如一见。大家能真正领略到黄河在奔腾，在怒吼，它的雄伟，使人感到一种博大的精神境界！
在路上，我们还看见了苹果沟，我们一看，只见有着一排一排的苹果树，上面长满像石榴的苹果。往前一看，原来是有红色的带子套着呢！
第三天，我们去陕西历史博物馆，观看了从公元前五百年直到清朝的文物展览。其中我最喜欢的东西是莫贪杯，那杯子里有一条龙，如果水装得太多，就会从龙的嘴里漏出来，一点都不剩了。
下午我们又去了城墙，我们花了四十分钟，在城墙坑坑洼洼的地上骑着车绕了一圈。这城墙，往前一看，真是蜿蜒连绵，看不到头。
第四天，我们去了书院门。那里卖的东西真是丰富多彩，有卖古玩的，有卖爵杯的，有刻章的，还有画画的。其中爵杯是很有趣的，那爵杯是古人喝酒用的，杯上有两个乳点，目的是古人喝酒喝完了的时候，两个乳点就会碰到鼻梁，这样佣人会知道这杯酒喝完了，就要倒酒了，要不就要被***头。
这一次去西安，长了不少文化，但这次我还有一点儿遗憾，就是今年我没有去成兵马俑。我爸说今年没有挖出什么来，所以就别去了。
