一说到宠物，一般情况下，人们首先就想到的肯定是小猫啊、小狗啊什么的，可是呢，我家的宠物却与众不同，那就是——小鸡仔儿。哈哈，想不到吧？！
话说前不久的一天中午，我放学回到家，就听到家里有陌生的声音。家有来客啦？！待我蹑手蹑脚地移动到客厅，探出脑袋来定睛一瞧，你猜“客人”是谁？啊哈，你真聪明，猜对了，就是小鸡！四只小鸡仔儿。
四只小鸡仔儿就像一个个小绒球，毛色自然，手感顺滑。老妈购买的时候，特意挑选了不同的毛色，我分别给它们起了名字：棕黄色的叫“土豆”，褐色的叫“咖啡豆”，米白色的叫“白菜”，花色的则是“花菜”了。
它们的小眼睛又黑又亮，颇像黑宝石。圆圆的小脑袋前长了个尖尖的小嘴巴。它们一天到晚总是叽叽喳喳地叫个不停，简直就像是一支交响乐队。
小鸡们吃食的时候，也是我最爱看的光景了。它们从不挑食，端啥吃啥，吃嘛嘛香，而且不一会儿就一扫而光，胃口好极了！它们用尖尖的小嘴，不停地一上一下来回啄。它们喝水时，则先把嘴埋进水里，吞下一大口，然后脖子一仰，就咕噜咕噜地咽进肚子了。最后，喝完了水，还会再扭动一下脖子。
小鸡们睡觉时，则是相当得警觉。比如晚上我想来看看它们睡觉的样子，只要靠近一点儿，它们就会发出弱弱的叫声，怯怯地挪动一下身体，有时还会抬起小脑袋，眯缝着小眼，睡眼朦胧地看看你，那样子可爱极了，让人心疼着呢。
每当它们户外活动时，甭提有多开心了，撒丫子满世界地乱跑，那叫个欢儿啊！东瞅瞅西瞧瞧，这儿啄一下，那儿刨一把，简直像一群调皮的小男生。

今天早晨，爸爸和妈妈匆匆忙忙吃完早饭就出门，洗碗的任务自然就落在我的身上，根据以往的，清洗无油的碗那是小菜一碟，用自来水冲洗干净就行，可是今天要洗的碗却偏偏有许多油，我心里忐忑不安，感觉好难呀！
再难也要完成此次任务，于是我按照妈妈原来教我的方法，先把盘子和碗里面的东西清除掉，然后挤一点洗碗液将盘子和碗上的油污擦洗掉，再用清水清洗四次就行。
我带着好奇心小心翼翼的在盘子上抹上一点洗碗液，盘子变的好滑呀，我非常仔细地操作，非常担心盘子被打碎，可好景不长，越到后来我越不细心，心想：不就是洗有油的盘子吗？有什么不起的。于是盘子在我手里滑来滑去，它跳着欢快的舞蹈，忽然，盘子从我手中滑出去，“啪”的一声，盘子粉身碎骨。
“糟糕”在！怎么办呀！我把盘子打碎，我被急得团团转，此时我的心情糟糕透，经过反复的思考，想起妈妈说的话：犯错误不可怕，怕的是不敢主动承认自己的错误，于是我鼓足勇气给妈妈打电话承认自己的错误，爸爸和妈妈没有责怪我，只是跟我讲一些道理，这可然我非常感动。
虽然这次打坏一个盘子，但我也从中学到一些道理：做任何事只有认真仔细去做，成功才会来到你身边。
