今天，徐老师带我们看了《西部孩子的生活》新闻报道，他们的生活多么艰苦啊！我很同情他们，心里也非常难受。
他们在上学的路上很辛苦，14个孩子背着二三十斤的柴火，走15公里的山路，翻四座大山才能到达学校。有个叫小花的小女孩，才翻了两座大山，就饿哭了，他们就把做饭的柴火拿来烤土豆吃，渴了就喝山路旁边的溪水。他们的生活与我们在城里的生活差距太大了！
他们那边下大雨的时候，道路泥泞湿滑，仍然坚持上学。我们这边如果下了倾盆大雨，狂风大作，就有很少人来上学了，这一点对比，让我感受到了西部孩子那种坚持不懈的精神，值得我们敬佩！
他们没有菜，只吃黄豆米饭，只有这两种食物，而且根本吃不到鱼、虾、肉，这些美餐他们想都不敢想。而且他们从不挑三拣四，即使再难吃的东西，他们也吃得一点都不剩。不像我们吃大桌的时候，点了许多豪华大餐，临走时桌上还有许许多多的食物都没有吃完，这些食物不是都白白浪费了吗？现在想想这样浪费，都感到惭愧。
这部视频让我深受启发，因为他们的生活状况和学习态度让我非常感动，我也要像他们一样刻苦学习，为父母争光！

今天我们观看了西部的`孩子背着柴火去上学的新闻报道，我看了之后，心里非常非常难过，因为他们非常穷，上学的`路太远了。
每当周日早晨，还没到六点，上学的小孩就早早地起了床，上学的路一共有15公里远，还要翻一座座大山。他们背着几个土豆，就去上学了。一路上要走山路，还要顶着火热的太阳。一路上，他们找到一条小小的溪流，像小鸟一样飞奔过去，有的孩子在洗脸，有的孩子在喝水。有一个叫小花的小朋友饿了，他们就去找柴火烧土豆。到了学校，他们每顿都是只吃米饭和黄豆。
因为他们非常穷，家里没有钱，所以他们就认真学习，想走出大山，让父母过上好日子。他们这种认真学习的精神，我们一定要学习。我们吃的是丰盛的饭菜，可他们吃的只是米饭和黄豆，而我们却挑三拣四的。我们的爸爸妈妈一直在家陪伴着我们，可是他们的父母常年在外地打工。我们和他们相比，就是生活在天堂里。
