We are supposed to place our attention on, instead of its funny appearance, the implied meaning of the cartoon: as the overall second-child policy expands throughout China, some only children are so selfish that they cannot accept the second child in their family. What can account for this undesirable situation? For one thing, they, as the only child at home all the time, have no awareness of sharing what they like with others due to the fact that all the family members give their love to the only child. As a result, when faced with the problem of whether they are willing to have a sibling, their first response is to refuse it. For another reason, some couples are eager to have a second child as soon as possible, which makes them neglect to communicate with their only child to let them realize the advantage of having a sibling companion in their childhood.
From what has been discussed above, it's safe for me to conclude that it is urgent to take some immediate and effective measures. 大家好!
我叫郭光德，49岁，信阳人，下岗工人，现租房住在信阳市107国道建行家属院。本人曾参加过自卫反战，并荣立三等战功。我妻子叫秦长玉，原在信阳市大商新玛特超市打工，辞工后在医院陪护孩子。
并非老郭拿战功说事，而是我们现在确实到了走投无路的地步了。舍下一张老脸，请求社会各界救救我们的儿子——急性髓系白血病患者：郭锦明!
我夫妻二人虽属低收入家庭，但是一个家庭温暖幸福。儿子郭锦明1991年8月出生，今年23岁，就读于漯河职业技术学院，大三学生。2013年9月份，孩子在校出现无名发热症状。随经校卫生室简单输液治疗，临时控制住体温。1天后，孩子再次高热，并致口腔溃烂，病情恶化严重。经老师和同学们劝导，孩子请假回家就医治疗。我妻子秦长玉将孩子带到信阳市中心医院就诊，经血液化验，孩子血象不正常。后经医院确诊，我儿子患上了急性髓系白血病。
这么一个独生子，在正值青春美好的大学光景，却患上了如此绝症——这让我们这个原本就很贫穷的家庭顿时觉得天塌了一般。为了给孩子治病，我夫妻二人先后带着孩子跑武汉同济医院、周口中西医结合医院(血液病专科医院等医院就医，现在就诊于河南省人民医院。一年多来，我们一家反复奔波，给孩子看病花了40多万元。
医生告诉我们：要想孩子能活下去，就必须进行骨髓移植;要移植骨髓，且不谈配型、移植手术、用药等费用，仅仅在治疗(观察仓内就需50-60万元费用。
家庭积蓄花干，亲朋好友借完，我们这个家实在承受不起这巨额费用了。为了保住孩子一条年轻的生命，万般无奈，我们向浉河区慈善总会和红十字会提出了求助申请，两家单位按最高限度给与了我们现金资助。面对巨额手术治疗费用，浉河区给予的资助实在是杯水车薪。
走投无路之下，我们向社会各界爱心人士、各慈善团体、各家媒体求助，请求你们帮帮我们这个贫困的三口之家!帮我们把孩子的病情呼吁出去，唤起社会各界的援助之手来救助一条23岁的生命吧!
