五年级初学英语作文【一】
第一节课我们要学习“三步上篮”，老是想为我们做示范，只见他用手抓住篮球迈出一大步又迈出一小步，同时向上一跃，手松开，将篮球送入篮筐。老师的整个动作自然连贯，我们不禁拍手叫好，老师告诉我们一个口诀，一大歩一小步一条一投篮。
我们排成一列长队，开始三步上篮的练习，首先是我们的体委小林同学，他非常擅长于篮球，所以轻松地投中了篮框。接下来就是我了，我的心像小兔子一般，呼吸也逐渐的加快，我努力使自己镇定下来。旁边就是体育老师和众多的同学，如果我投篮失败，岂不丢丑吗？同学将球送给我的时候，我更紧张了，心中一直念着口诀。最后我只差一点就投中了，我沮丧极了，失败的.感觉像那一般涌上心头。
这时体育老师来到了我的身旁，他微笑着对我说，其实你的动作没有问题，不过你太紧张了，所以你的心你的动作过于僵硬，导致你失败，你一定要勤于练习，克服你的紧张情绪。
我听了老师的话多练习了几次，练习了几次之后，再次上了我没有了紧张的情绪，学会了三步上篮，老师的话使我感触颇丰，记得曾有一位心理学家这样说，其实最大的敌人不是别人，而是自己。在日后的各种比赛及活动中一定要勤于练习，熟能生巧，克服紧张心理，微笑着迎接挑战。
初始篮球让我激发了我对篮球的兴趣，我在日后一定认真学习篮球篮球技术蒸蒸日上！
五年级初学英语作文【二】
说起游泳，我想起了当初学游泳的教练。他四十多岁，胖乎乎的，浑身都被晒得黑黝黝的，嗓门很大，就像一座水中的铁塔。我们兄弟俩刚参加他办的游泳学习训练班时，还只有五六岁的样子，一开始都怕苦怕累，还因为呛水哭过鼻子。教练毫不留情地让我们的爸爸妈妈走开，不让他们看着我们游，让他们到下课的时候再来接。就这样，我们从将脑袋浸没在水中憋气、双手扳着游泳池壁，两脚不住地打水开始，学会了一项又一项的基本功。渐渐地，我们对水从怕变成了爱，到了第二年夏天，我们都喜欢上了这项运动，一到暑假放假时就去那家游泳池游泳。后来因为上学功课忙，我们难得去游泳。这次训练，是在另一家温水游泳池，可是我们早就基本掌握了蛙泳和仰泳的技巧，如今准备，一点也不觉得费力。
记得教练曾经对我们说：“只有在水里，人才能感觉到身体的平衡。”确实如此，我在学校参加两百米赛跑，总是跑不快，刚跑几十米就气喘吁吁的了。可是我一下水，自己就好象变成了一条鱼，游多久，游多远都没有问题。想起当时教练站在水池边，手里拿着秒表不停地催促我们快游，看见我们游不动了，他就鼓励我们再坚持一下。是的，凡事都怕认真，当你觉得自己不行了的`时候，只有再坚持一下，你也许会达到终点。在学习上也是如此，这次考试没考好，千万不能灰心。再坚持一下，多做些题目，多看些参考书，你也许就能掌握要领，考出好成绩。正是因为我记住了自己初学游泳的时候所经历的一切，我才克服了一个又一个困难，取得了学习上的好成绩。
我想，今年中考后又到了夏天，我要再去那家游泳池游泳，看望我的教练。

到了陶艺馆，老师给我和可心一人一块陶泥，问我们要做什么。我们都说要做个碗，老师点点头。她先帮我们定好重心，然后叫我们自己DIY。对初学陶艺的我们来说，是一件很困难的事情。一开始，老师教我们把陶泥中间按一个小孔出来。第一次，我用很大的'力气往下按。一按，力气太大、重心不稳，陶泥破了个洞，而且重心歪到西伯利亚了，我的第一次以失败告终。而可心呢，情况和我差不多。我们俩像两个泄了气的气球一样，垂头丧气。在我们已经失望的时候，有一句俗语提醒了我俩：“有志者，事竞成”。它鼓励我们从失败中站了起来。我们开始尝试了第二次。
第二次开始了，这一次我们不像上一次一样，粗鲁地用尽全力按下去，而是小心翼翼轻轻地按下去。太好了，终于成功了！我和可心拍手庆祝。下一步，从下往上轻轻地让它变薄 ，慢慢地让它扩大，有碗的形状啦！这一次我可不是以失败告终了，而是一次性成功。我高兴地跳了起来。做完这一步，后面就小菜一碟了。我以神的速度完成了。接下来就是三四天的火烤了。
其实做陶艺，还是简单又富有乐趣的。只是你需要有一定的耐心和志气，就一定能完成。

I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.
