正方摇了摇头，反驳道：“这次讲解员活动，她代表的是杭州的形象，应该全力以赴。而且，对她个人来说，这次英语讲解能提高她的英语水平和胆识，对她的能力培养很有帮助。还有，她不是一直梦想能跟这些“大人物”交流和合影吗？再说了，运动会就算她不去，班级里也有同学可以替她飞奔赛场，为班级争光啊！”
这时，反方沉默了。正方露出了胜利的笑容。
我的心里忽然明亮起来。是呀，不参加运动会可以看视频补偿，可以让同学代替比赛，而讲解员活动可不是所有人都有机会的呀！此时，我领悟了一句话：有得必有失。有得到的必然有失去的，选择放弃是我们人生中必须经历的事情。
想到这儿，我长舒一口气，心中的大石头落地了。望着窗外，道路两旁的灯光似乎在那一刻变得柔和，星稀的天空中，月亮挂着笑容，在窗前用它如水的光洒下一片湖水。在被黑夜包裹的城市里，偶有一辆车从眼前驰过又远去，我看着这时间停止般安详宁静的道路，心满意足地合上双眼，进入了甜甜的梦乡。
