俗话说得好：不到长城非好汉。我们这次旅行的第一站就是八达岭长城。
在一路上想象着长城的雄伟壮丽，我兴奋极了，虽说我人在车上，可我的心早已飞到了长城。关于长城的故事，我听说了许多，也在课本上学了许多，可从没亲眼看见过，这次终于如愿以偿了。
不知过了多久，忽然一声喊叫才把我的心灵换回来：看啊!长城。我猛地一下从座位上跳起来，向窗外望去，果真是雄伟的长城，憧憬已久的长城!我突然感觉自己在燃烧，全身的血液都沸腾起来。
遥望远方，长城前不见头后不见尾，顺着山脊一直延伸到天边。长城两侧一片翠绿，显得庄重美丽。广场上的汽车向甲虫一样，聚集在一起，房屋、行人都小了许多。长城上，中外游客形成一股人流，不断掀起层层人狼，涌进远方
长城显得那样沉静、那样庄严。他象一条蜿蜒的巨龙卧在连绵起伏的崇山峻岭上。当时我的心情也受长城的熏陶变得如此沉静。
我随着人浪登上长城。我的脚一部部落在那坚实的城转上，想着古代人劳动的情景;我的手一次次触摸到那凹凸不平的条石，内心是如此的感谢，感谢那些古代劳动者的劳动;我的眼睛一次次看到那苍凉而稳重的灰色，我的心里不由自主的一次又一次感到震撼。那饱经风霜的条石、城砖，布满了或深或浅的.痕迹，似乎再向人诉说着长城辉煌的历史，让我去深深的、细细的感受
短暂而别有深意的的一日，就这样渡过。我心满意足，因为我领略了古代劳动人的心血，我觉得今日是我竖起生后最丰富的一日。
