青年应该有理想的英语作文【一】
Recently we did a survey in our class in order to learn about students’ ideal jobs. Here’s a report about my group members’ ideas。
Mary wants to be a fashion designer because she likes beautiful clothes and is good at drawing. Kate wants to be a gardener, she lives plants, and she wants to make the cities better. Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman. I want to protect the people safe。
Hopefully everyone can realize their dreams in the future。

these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single, yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true. however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

王勃在面对仕途坎坷、前途迷茫、生活艰苦之时道出了：“穷且益坚，不坠青云之志。”而《逍遥游》中的蜩与学鸠却目光短浅，翱翔蓬蒿之间，认为“此亦飞之至也”，且反问大鹏“彼且奚适也？”两者面对志向的态度可谓是大相径庭，但毋庸置疑的是，作为新时代的进步青年，我们提倡的是不坠青云之志。
青云志，不仅是站在树下踮起脚尖就能摘到的苹果，不是狂热的***，而是对美好的一种追求，对完善自己的`一种信念，是精神动力，是理想之邦。
回望历史，王勃穷且益坚，不坠青云之志。王勃面对的环境是艰苦不堪的，他面对的人生旅途是迷茫的，却仍志存高远，望突破困难，望达成他的青云志。不仅只有王勃，亦有杜甫在面对艺考失败，仍不弃青云志，再一次次尝试，亦一遍遍追逐。更有李白道出“长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海”的壮志豪言。青云志，或是难以达成的，但有志才有达志的机会，才有面对阻力时坚持理想、不轻言放弃的倔强。青云志让王勃、杜甫直面困厄，青云志让李白信心扬帆。青云志，是精神动力，不坠青云之志，方能达成所愿。
再看今朝，水稻之父袁隆平不坠青云之志，梦禾下乘凉。袁隆平一生为世界水稻育种事业作出的贡献世人有目共睹，而他如今虽已是“90后”，仍有不断追逐的远大志向。他希望实现“禾下乘凉梦”，他希望让全世界的人不再受饥饿。袁隆平的青云志不因年老而被丢弃，不因他功勋显著而被轻视。青云志，是袁隆平救济世界饥饿民众的追求，是屠呦呦守护亿万人民健康的理想，是黄旭华望国家核潜艇工程取得更多突破的宏愿。今朝，多少前辈尽管青丝变白发，仍坚定他们的青云志，是他们不停下追逐青云志的脚步，使时代进步。所以，作为青年的我们更需珍惜青春年华，立下青云志，追逐青云志！
然而，反观当下，如蜩与学鸠一般“翱翔蓬蒿之间，此亦飞之至也”的人比比皆是。他们眼光局限于眼前，进步一点就沾沾自喜，不知人外有人，天外有天，不思进取，没有志向，碌碌无为，无济于事。没有志向，怎能实现人生价值，怎能收获美好生活，怎能振兴民族，怎能强大国家？
青年就应该在面对大风大浪时，铿锵有力地对自己说：“穷且益坚，不坠青云之志！”

nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. they bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. they think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
