为了庆祝新年的到来，此时我校举行了一场别开生面的拔河比赛。只听裁判员吹了一声口哨，比赛就热火朝天的开始了。第一场就是预赛，我们班对五（3）班。同学们很紧张，一向担心再次输掉，拉拉队早就喊上了口号：“五（2）班，加油！”加油声此起彼伏，像海浪一般阵阵涌来。我们班参赛的同学个个斗志昂扬，一鼓作气，一下子就把五（3）班拉过了中线。“YH！”我们班同学为这场预赛取得胜利而欢呼。
进入第二场决赛了，我们班对五（1）班。只见参赛的同学满脸就是汗，咬紧牙关，憋着一股劲儿，随时准备拉倒对方；观赛的同学满脸期盼，屏气凝神，捏着一把汗，恨不能帮他们一把。这时哨声响起，“加油！”“加油！”加油声不断，原本安静的赛场又沸腾起来了。只见我们班参赛的同学就像喝醉了酒一样，时左时右，忽东忽西，眼看就要撑不住了。拉拉队的加油声越来越响亮了，参赛队员听了这呐喊助威的声音，像注射了一样，一下子来了劲儿，他们一跺脚，一用力，把五（1）班拉出了中线外。
哇噻！稀有的第一名！我们班第一次得了第一名！此时全班同学高兴得都快疯了！有的人手舞足蹈，有的人连喊“YH！YH！”还有的人激动地直流眼泪……
