养蜗牛就得要有蜗牛，据书上介绍蜗牛要在雨后才会找到。啊，真好，今天下了一场大雨，正好可以去找蜗牛。于是，我拿了一只纸盒去寻找蜗牛。首先，我来到阳台上，看到那里有几只蜗牛正在墙壁上爬。于是，我就找了三只健壮的蜗牛放进纸盒里。
接着，我就给蜗牛做一个家。按照《百科全书》上说的方法，我找来了一个透明的大塑料瓶，用剪刀把塑料瓶拦腰剪成两半。底部的那一半留下。接着，我跑下楼来到大树下捡了一些比较干净的枯树叶。那枯树叶有大有小，形状各异。然后，我再捡了一些枯树枝。根据书上说的，枯树枝最好粗一点的。可是，我看到树下的树枝只有一些细小的，粗的一根也没有。怎么办？难道就用小的代替了吗？那是不行的'！可是，这里哪里有粗的枯树枝呢？这时，我看到一棵大树旁边正好斜着伸出一根已经枯死的树枝。于是，我就去拿来锯把它从树上锯了下来。好了，现在粗的枯树枝也已经得到了。然后，我就拿着枯树枝回家去了。
回到家里，我把枯树枝用抹布擦干净，放到那半只塑料瓶里。接着，我把捡来的枯树叶铺在里面，让蜗牛有一个回到大自然的感觉。最后，我去寻找给蜗牛吃的食物了。我想起书上介绍蜗牛喜欢吃蔬菜和水果。我想现在蔬菜难找，家里水果有现成的。冰箱里面放着梨子。我就从冰箱里面拿出了梨子来。接着，我拿了一把小刀，从梨子上面切下一块，然后我把切下来的梨子再切成米粒大小。切好，我把这一些梨子粒子均匀地撒在内瓶子里面给蜗牛吃。
好了，我终于给这三只蜗牛布置好了一个舒适的家，而且放的食物也比较丰富。啊，我心里也比较开心，因为我又多了几个蜗牛朋友！
