曾经在路边看到这一幕：一堆泥土上，长了一颗“缺乏营养”的树，“枯藤老树昏鸦”，在阳光的照耀下，只看见几根又黑又细的枝干，那泥土上铺满了建筑垃圾，向后看去，原来，那里是建筑垃圾场，而那一颗树，则是小小的角落的不显眼的一棵枯死的树。
曾经在一块地的中央看到这一幕：一位40多岁的男士，开着卡车，车厢内装着砖头，钢筋等建筑垃圾。那卡车正向这边开过来。紧跟着车子后面的是厚厚的灰尘，厚到只看见灰尘，后面的场面全都被灰尘给“淹没”了。但是，这种厚厚的灰尘并没有引起死机的注意，那卡车仍然在一车一车的倾倒。
曾经的建筑垃圾，今天的建筑垃圾，未来的建筑垃圾，这些“没有价值的垃圾”将何去何从？

尊老爱幼，助人为乐，拾金不昧等这些传统美德深深的影响着一代又一代的中华儿女。当然，我们也应当用与时俱进的眼光来看待社会公德，比如在当今社会，保护环境就应当成为每一个人的必修课。
环境保护并不是一个新鲜的话题，但是现如今却成为我们国家的头等大事。不可否认，环境保护是一个庞大的、系统性的工程，关系着千千万万人的命运，所以，这也需要所有人的配合与努力。我们知道，人类只有一个地球，地球已经存在了几十亿年，但是它非常脆弱，现在更是受到各种灾难的威胁：水污染、空气污染、江河断流等等。看看98年的洪水和去年的海啸吧，我们就会知道，地球其实已经千疮百孔。如果有那么一天，地球不堪重负，我们的命运又将何去何从呢?毫无疑问，我们别无选择，只有死路一条。所以，作为地球上的一员，我们不能仅仅担忧和抱怨，而必须加紧行动，像爱护我们的眼睛一样爱护我们的地球。那么我们应该怎么做呢?
