we took out the sandwiches and water, and had our picnic in the shade under the trees. the most popular food are sausages and tomatoes.
after lunch we took a walk. there we saw many beautiful flowers and GREen grass. we smelled sweet air. how nice the picnic was!

俗话说：“上有天堂，下有苏杭。”在暑假，怀着对它的向往，爸爸妈妈带着我来到了苏州。
我们来到了有“苏州园林之冠”美称的拙政园。一进大门，一阵清香扑鼻而来，只见满池的荷花展现在眼前，荷叶挨挨挤挤，一个个像碧绿的大圆盘，上面滚动的露珠仿佛就是一颗颗晶莹剔透的珍珠，迎着太阳闪闪发光。荷叶间，偶尔有三三两两绽放的粉红色的花朵。伴着由它传送的醉人的清香，不知不觉中，我们踏上了水廊。
听导游说，水廊是中国三大名廊之一。水廊的墙上，有各种雕花的窗。这些窗的花形图案各异，居然没有两扇是相同的。这也是水廊的一大特色。透过花窗，我惊奇地发现，紧挨着墙壁，又有一条长廊，据说这种设计独特的长廊叫做“复廊”。
我们坐在水廊的石凳上休息了片刻，又继续前行。经过了蜿蜒曲折的曲桥，绕过了一个又一个设计精巧、造型别致的亭阁。就在我一路赞叹古人的聪慧时，眼前又出现了一座三面被荷池环绕着的建筑物------一座六角形的亭子。门窗上雕刻着各种花卉图案，精致美观，栩栩如生。阁楼前是一块空地，称为“台”。这座建筑集亭、台、楼、阁、轩为一体，是最具江南特色的古代建筑之一。看着这动人的画面，我不禁想起我国古代的“才子佳人”在此楼阁上弹琴弄曲、倚栏吟诗作赋的动人画面。窗外，一池荷花随风摇曳，飘来阵阵清香……

人们都说“上有天堂，下有苏杭”，杭州已是光顾多次，但苏州的亭台楼榭、碧水荡漾就像素雅的水墨画一直在自己的梦中萦绕，得知这个五 一爸爸妈妈要带我去苏州，别提我有多兴奋了了。
前日晚上把闹钟铃定在了5:20分，次日一大早就起身洗漱，没多大工夫便焕然一新地整装待发了。
妈妈说，去往苏州的前半段路程与去杭州差不多，沿途的风景就不用细看了，先闭目养神吧……但激动、喜悦的.心情令我始终无法平静！我睁着大眼。伸着脖子不停地向车窗外张望。大约2个小时的行程我们来到了苏州。虽然记忆中的杭州是灰色的，但我仍然期待这个古老的水乡能给我留下难忘的记忆。
我们的第一站是七里山塘，它位于苏州城的西北角，全长3.6公里，是白居易任刺史时修建的，所以又称“白公堤” 。类似的古镇古街，小桥流水我看得也不少了，山塘老街，白墙、黑瓦，红灯笼、古戏台、古驿站……虽说后建的各种博物馆有些破坏它原有美好的氛围，但是丝毫不影响我的欣赏和对这里的喜爱。这里不论水道还是街道，都不失南方水乡柔美的特点。尤其是绝代佳人那娴熟的琵琶弹唱，让我唏嘘不止，我想到了大珠小珠落玉盘，想到了犹抱琵琶半遮面……站在老街上，我可以想到古代繁华的南方水乡，可以想到作为一个都城，应该拥有怎样的规模？穿廊入舫的美景欣赏好了就要乘舟走山塘的水路了。听导游说，这条水道直通向虎丘脚下的七里山塘，藏着许多许多的风雅故事。沿着河道我放眼望去：破旧但不失历史痕迹的水上吊屋，新修的陕西会馆、山东会馆，还有一些洗尽铅华的古旧建筑。我兴奋地将手伸出船弦去撩拨那软软的姑苏水，啊！苏州，我终于触摸到了你！在参观门票上有关于七里山塘的简介，七里山塘还被誉为：神州第一街“呢，我认为它不是浪得虚名的。
吃过午饭，我们就要步行参观“观前街”了，导游介绍：观前街是苏州最为繁华的闹市区，它的命名是因了一位叫玄妙的道观曾在这里生活、住持过，它是集商业、娱乐、饮食、文化为一体的长长一条街。在我看来它应该算是和宁波，慈溪等各地的城隍庙性质差不多：热闹、繁华，没有想象中的肃穆、威严。但它又不同于一般的城隍庙那般杂沓、繁复、市井，它脱掉了锈迹斑斑、尘埃过重的外衣，将深重的历史、古典的文化和脱俗的人文气息淋漓地展现在我的面前。我终于知道苏州虽没有高楼林立，没有花鸟鱼虫却为什么能名扬海外了，一定与它独有的古老文化和清新秀雅的内涵有关，雅俗共赏的古老城市一定代表了中华文明古老的历史，承载了人民对它的厚望。
最后因时间关系，我们放弃了游览拙政园的计划，而改道去了苏州最大的蚕丝织造地——苏州第一丝厂。什么叫巧夺天工？看了丝织女工那双灵巧的手是如何将一团丝茧巧妙地缠绕在制造机上绕成丝线，最后又织成丝被的全过程，你就不得不叹为观止了！。
短短的一路行程，短短的一段时光，但留给我的却是长长的记忆、长长的怀念。记忆那窄窄的弄堂、宽宽的河道，回忆那余音袅绕的弹奏、历史与现代的建筑和风貌！苏州！我来了！
