记叙文就是指记人、叙事、描写景物的文章。
二、记叙文能发表议论吗？
记叙文可以议论，但议论不可过多。
打个比方，如果想焖干饭，虽然需要放点水，但应少放，否则，水多米少，干饭就变成了稀饭。干饭和稀饭的本质区别就在于“水”的多少。
因此，记叙文和议论文的本质区别就在于：记叙和议论孰多孰少。写记叙文最好不要大发议论，要学会用“事实”说话，让事实本身去表达作者的喜怒哀乐就可以了。比如，父母爱孩子是不会整天把“我爱你，孩子”挂在嘴边的，而是通过自己的一言一行把对子女的爱真是自然地流露出来，真正的记叙文完全可以没有议论。当然，有时恰到好处的议论也是必不可少的，能够起到画龙点睛的作用。这是一个“度”的问题，需要在阅读和写作中慢慢揣摩。
三、是不是记叙文不需要审题？
记叙文写作一定要审题，且审题很关键。
比如，以“我的老师”为题写一篇记叙文，那么文章的重点应写“老师”，而不是写“我”。因为这是一个偏正结构的短语，“老师”是重点。但重点写了“老师”就一定不跑题了吗？不一定，如果所写的老师不是“我的”，而是“他”的，同样也是跑题了。
如果写“我与老师”，那么就和“我的老师”有极大的差别。“我与老师”是一个并列式短语，“我”和“老师”同等重要，二者不可有所偏废。可以写“我”和“老师”之间的密切关系或有趣味或有意义的小故事。
四、记叙文就是“记流水帐”吗？
当然不是。
短短的800多字的文章，如果从星期一、星期二、星期三……一直写到星期天，人人会写，但写好很难。为什么这么说呢？因为在有限的篇幅呢（800字），如果涉及的事情越多，头绪就越复杂，就越难把事情说清楚说透彻。越想面面俱到，越不能面面俱到，结果反而会“面面不到”。鲁迅先生曾经说过：与其伤其十指，不如断其一指。就是这个道理的形象化表达。所以我们写记叙文切忌时间或空间跨度太大，最好集中在一点，把事情说清楚，把人物写活，把景物写真实就可以了。不要把场面摆的很大，搭一个大大的“戏台”，光配角就挤满了舞台，等真正的.主角出场已经没有空间可以立足了。这样的“戏”怎能让观众拍手叫好呢？
五、记叙文怎样才能“抓住人心”呢？
要以情感人。
其实任何文章都是以情感人的，只不过记叙文的“情”必须是“真情实意”。这里的“真情实意”要靠平时的观察、体验、感悟积累所成。如果仅仅想“临场发挥”那是万万不成的。平日要有一颗“善感”的心，需要做一个生活的“有心人”。平时有意识的把自己的喜怒哀乐等感情装进一个情感“储蓄罐”里，积少成多，你就会变成一个“有情人”，写作时就能妙笔生花了。
