在一边看的台灯轻蔑地说：“你们都别吵，这儿还是我功劳最大!要不是我，天黑时，主怎么写稿件?小主人怎么做作业呢?所以呀，还是我的功劳最大!”
“什么，你敢说你的功劳最大!”电磁炉和电视一起说。“要不是我电视，主人的见识那儿有这么广?”“你怎么能说你的功劳最大?明明就是我的功劳最大!”……，它们你一言，我一语地吵了起来。
就这样，主人想看天气预报电视不帮忙，不知道明天会下雨，小主人上学时淋感冒了，主人想为小主人煮姜汤，要电磁炉不帮忙，主人只能花很多钱为小主人买药。主人想写稿了，可台灯也不帮忙，没法写文稿，主人就只能拿到很少的工资金。他很生气，把一切都怪它们身上，它们伤心极了。
电脑把一切都看在眼里，说：“孩子们，你们要明白，尺有所长，寸有所短，你们都很有用!”它们听懂了电脑的话，高兴极了。
从此以后，家用电器们又恢复了往日的和谐。

On the other hand, students want to choose the major that they are interested. This is often contradicting with their parents’ opinion.
