At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. Above all, I wanted to help my mother with housework. I also wished to read many hooks which my teachers had recommended. However, at home, my mother would never let me do anything. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. There’s no place like home!

新年临近，腊月二十七日中午，爸爸妈妈带着我去买年货。
路上，车非常稀少，不像我在家里想象的那样：街上车水马龙，人非常多。妈妈说：“因为我们购年货的时间太晚了，多数人都回老家过年了。所以路上的人车这么少”我们的车拐到另一条路上，那条路几乎一辆车都没有。我想，可能这一条路旁边小区的人也都回家过年了吧。
我们到了卖年货的地方，这是一家海货批发公司。那里的阿姨让我们在年货采购册上挑选自己喜欢的年货。我们精挑细选着，可是，爷爷爱吃的海蜇头，香喷喷的黄花鱼，好吃的辣酱都没有了。满满的仓库只剩下品种不全的几样年货了。最后，我们选了两箱带鱼、一箱高眼鱼，一箱烤鱼片，还有一箱辣酱。
卖年货的地方人虽然少，没有我想象的那么热闹。我们购买的年货不算丰盛，但是，我们期盼过年的心情都是一样的。

So people call it Mountain City。 In Chong Qing，I went to the Red Stone Center， to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past。 It is a terrible and awful trip。 There are a lot of dogs， and soldiers with guns near the prisons。 And most of the prisons are good， they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were。 They lived in very small houses。 No good food to eat， no good water to drink。They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing。
I think they are the heros in that century。 I will follow their spirit。

不知妈妈又是从哪张可恶报纸上看到，说吃枸杞芽对视力有帮助。于是家里又立即以迅雷不及掩耳之势掀起了一阵“枸杞热”。
这东西要是什么一般菜嘛倒也没什么，可是那苦劲简直和黄连一模一样；这东西要是可以放点糖嘛倒也没什么，可是妈妈却说不加糖效果才好；这东西要是偶尔吃一次嘛倒也没什么，可是妈妈又说了，要像吃药一样日日吃，月月吃，年年吃!
早上一碗枸杞芽面，中午一碗枸杞芽汤，晚上一碗炒枸杞芽，我越吃越恶心，一见到枸杞芽，就想上去把它踩个稀巴烂。
今天，妈妈又陪我吃枸杞芽了，而且吃得比我还多，看着她那吃得津津有味样子，我忍不住问：“你怎么这么爱这东西?”妈妈拧着眉毛，使劲咽下一口，然后猛扒了一口饭说：“我才不爱吃呢!”我更加不解了，忙问：“你不爱吃，还吃得这么带劲?”“只不过怕我不以身作则，你要提意见而已。”妈妈信口说道。
突然，她好像意识到了什么似，闭上了嘴，良久才说：“吃枸杞芽好处很多，这点苦算什么，我才不怕呢”!说完她又夹起一大筷枸杞芽塞进嘴里，这时她眉毛没有皱，脸上甚至还露出丝丝笑容，仿佛在品尝人间最美味食物。我愣住了，心里“咯噔”了一下，随即便什么都明白了。
我夹起一大筷枸杞芽，咀嚼着，品尝着这苦苦味道，这母爱味道。

暑假期间我和妈妈的二人探险队又增加了一名新队员，就是我的姨妈，姨妈对我们的探索旅程很好奇，所以也跟来了，我们三个人参观了故宫博物院，也到了至善园喂鱼，还去了内湖的美丽华百乐园，看那亚洲首屈一指的巨大摩天轮。
我们一到故宫差点吓坏了，因为暑假一到，全世界的人好像都在故宫集合了，里面有西方人，有日本人、大陆人、香港人、台湾人……等，许多各国的游客说着各种不同的语言，人山人海，就像菜市场一样热闹滚滚，大伙摩肩接踵，因此我不但听不清楚解说员的解说、陈列品也看不仔细，最后只好有些扫兴的离开。
还好大部份的游客不会去故宫下方的至善园，园里除了有江南的园林建筑，还有硕大肥美的锦鲤和游泳动作幽雅的天鹅，以及爱晒太阳的乌龟，更有许多动物和昆虫都在向我招手。姨妈是第一次去，所以还不断称赞那里的亭台楼阁古色古香呢！只是景物依旧，“鱼”事已非，锦鲤的数量和往年相比明显变少了，今年我特别准备了一公斤的鱼饲料想好好安慰它们，但任凭我如何努力的洒饲料想唤醒全池子的鱼儿，但总不像去年全体集合的壮观，可能是鱼饲料吃太多，吃“腻”了的原故。太阳下山晚风吹送，吹跑一整天的暑气，坐在凉亭里真是舒服极了，只是关园的时间到了，我们不得不离开。接着我们来到了内湖美丽华百乐园——亚洲最高摩天轮，我站在它的下方，可能是太近了，所以不觉得它美丽，反而是头昏眼花、双腿无力，任凭妈妈如何游说，我也不敢上去坐坐看，虽然姨妈也说我逊，但能为妈妈省钱也是功劳一件吧！
“早出晚归”，玩得好过瘾喔，而且多了姨妈参与，整个行程更有趣了，希望姨妈下次有空再和我们一起去探索美丽的城市。

趁着暑假美好的时光，我来到了慕名已久的千岛湖，我真是太激动了。一直听同学说千岛湖是人美丽的地方，今天我终于看到了，虽然在烈日下我的衣服都湿透了，但并不影响我游玩的好心情，我们登上了沁园25号游船，看到碧绿的湖水和成群的小岛我兴奋的`叫了起来，太美了。第一站我们来到了梅峰岛，我看到了大莽蛇，好多人把它缠到脖子上照相，莽蛇看上去并不那么恐怖，我还用后轻轻的摸了它一下，它身上凉凉的，还有细小的鳞片。我们坐缆车上了山顶，在这个山顶可以看到整个湖，很漂亮很壮观。第二站我们去了渔乐岛，这个岛上有个专门的鱼池，鱼池里有好多好多的红鲤鱼，好多人都在喂食小鱼，鱼儿们争先恐后的抢食。岛上还有水上摩托，我好想去玩，但是由于我太小，还不能玩这么危险的运动，但我以后一定会来玩的。我们在这岛上吃了中饭，我从来没见过这样的场面，因为是自助餐，大家都在抢，因为人食在太多，一上来就被抢光了，我只吃到了一些黄豆，虽然这让我很不开心，但不一会儿我就忘了，最后一个岛我们去了龙山岛。结束了一天的行程后，我们来到了龙川弯的70公社，这里简直是个世外桃园，好多东西我都没见过，妈妈说，“这些都是他们小时候看过的”。晚上我们就在这里住了。
第二天一早我对妈妈说的第一句话是：“妈妈，我下次还要来玩。”
