翻开这本书的时候，真的有被惊吓到，这本书是关于深度报道的精英访谈及经典案例。该书集合了电视、广播、报纸、杂志资深编辑和记者的采访手记，这种形式的书看起来确实有挑战，没有想象中那样有趣，但幸好还是小有收获。
虽说电视、杂志、报纸、广播的深度报道都是在突出讲故事，都强调怎样把新闻做真，但是谈到具体的时候还是有差别。电视的深度要来自视听兼备的传播特性，比如在调查事实的.时候，可能报纸只能把回答写出来，而电视却能够展示记者质问时的表情，当事人眼睛乱转，欲盖弥彰的表情。但文字造就的深刻，可以跟大脑媲美，而电视则不具备这种深刻，你必须把话说通俗，而不能太抽象。而杂志的报道更强调事实和问题之间的逻辑关系，要求记者提高采访质量，通过采访将充分的事实和严密的逻辑关系结合好，最完美就是将讲故事和讲道理同时完成。广播是这几类里最不容易让听众集中注意力的，它更必须把抽象问题形象化，只有特别形象、生动，听众才能接受，并需要注意节目结构的松紧，不能严谨过头，应该从听众习惯角度来做到舒缓有度。

这本书中所有受采访的编辑和记者都强调一个记者业务素质培养的重要性。新闻专业的只是是最基本的，但更重要的是要有质疑的精神、平衡的意识和平等的视角。很多人说，做记者是天生的，他有自己独特的思维方式，他能抓住平凡生活当中的新闻点。确实如此，我现在的视角很薄弱，既然先天不足，那就只有后天努力了。不只是专业知识，要广泛涉猎，把每次采访都当成学习机会，不仅是完成一篇报道，更是了解这个领域内、社会现象，接触和认识其中的人，逐渐形成自己的新闻理念。
一定的视点无不打开一定的视野，但同时又带来一定的盲区。它老提醒你，不能随时随地都是对的，当你持一种观点时，可能就背离了某种东西。这仿佛是在说世界上不存在绝对的事情，每件你认为的必然都可能会出现转机。故事的结局随时都会发生变化，抑或者，一直没有结局，因此，我也不能只相信故事只有一种结局而一成不变。把自己看作是时代的记录者，追随时代千千万万的变化吧。
