我们身边有很多好心人，我舅妈就是这样一个人。
我舅妈家对面住着一个八十多岁的孤寡老人，她双腿瘫痪了，整天只能躺在床上。我的舅妈看她很可怜，就主动照顾她，一日三餐都给她烧吃的。烧好后她就亲自送到老婆婆家里，还要一口一口地喂她吃。
每年老婆婆生日，舅妈就会到街上给她买喜欢吃的菜，通常有鱼有虾有螃蟹，水果也少不了，当然生日蛋糕更少不了。到了晚上，一桌丰盛的生日晚餐就摆在了老婆婆的面前。舅妈还把水果切成有趣的小动物形状，把老婆婆逗得直乐。吃蛋糕时，舅妈把蜡烛点上，给老婆婆唱生日快乐歌。周围的邻居都说我舅妈简直就是老婆婆的亲闺女。
老婆婆走不动，大便小便都拉在床上，舅妈不怕脏，就帮她换床单，并把床单洗干净，晾干后再给她换上。夏天到了，她每天给老婆婆洗澡、洗头，还给她抓虱子。老婆婆原先是短头发，后来舅妈让她把头发留长，每天给她梳漂亮的发髻，邻居都夸舅妈梳的发型很漂亮，老婆婆听了大家的夸奖，心里乐开了花。舅妈甚至还自己掏钱买了许多新衣服和新裤子给她穿，有时买了布料自己亲手做。舅妈平时是在附近的服装厂上班的，家里还有老人和孩子要照顾。但是，她一有空就会陪老婆婆聊聊天，说说话，逗她开心。在我舅妈的精心照顾下，老婆婆的双腿渐渐恢复了知觉，慢慢地能下地活动了。她经常在别人面前夸我舅妈人好，说自己瘫痪这么多年，如果没有我舅妈，她早已不在人世了。村里人也都说我舅妈手又巧，心又善，是个难得的大好人。听了他们这么夸我舅妈，我心里甜滋滋的。我真为有这样一个舅妈而高兴！
我想，如果人人都能像舅妈一样善待老人，那么社会上所有的空巢老人都将不会再感到孤独无助了。
