这本书里的爱尔莎是幸福的。它没有被猎人***死，得到了乔伊夫妇的关爱和保护，健康地成长，过上了幸福的生活。乔伊在这本书里详细记录着爱尔莎生活中的一点一滴，他们夫妇对野生动物充满着浓浓的爱，与动物结下了亲密的情谊。
当我得知乔伊夫妇最后因为保护野生动物，而先后被偷猎者***害，心里非常难过。偷猎者横行肆虐，导致很多动物濒临灭绝，他们的行为令人憎恶！所有的动物都应该有他们美好的生活，他们属于大自然。人类没有权利去伤害它们，而应该像乔伊夫妇一样爱护动物、保护动物。

爱尔莎有两个姐姐，她们从小就失去了母亲，那是一次悲惨事故造成的。乔治？亚当森是当地的一名狩猎督察官，他为了防身，开枪射死了她们的母亲。从此，作者托养起了它们。作者将爱尔莎的两位姐姐送进了动物园，然后努力将爱尔莎放回大自然，她成功了。爱尔莎像其它狮子一样生活在大自然，但爱尔莎有着一段其它狮子没有的美好记忆。
作者把文章写得生动、精彩，让我感觉生临其境，有时感到高兴，有时感到沮丧，有时感到非常难过……
我也希望在我的生活中有这么一只狮子，发生这么一段故事。如果我有这么一只狮子，我会陪他一起打猎、玩耍，一起喜怒哀乐。可我也许就不会将它放回大自然。可是动物的本性是狂野和自由的，谁也不应该去改变它们。
动物都是自由的，我们不应该去***扰它们，更不应该去狩猎它们！动物和人类都是自由的，世界上的一切有生命的事物都是如此。
我饲养着一只猫和一只仓鼠，它们带给我许多快乐……也许有许多人都像我一样和动物有过接触，但他们不会有这么一段美妙的故事。

我最喜欢的小动物有很多，燕子、小狗、小兔子、小松鼠……这其中，要数我最喜欢的那就是小猫了，说起小猫来，我家也有一只，那么我就来讲讲我和小猫的故事吧。
那只小猫的毛软软的，滑滑的，头上还有好看的花纹，所以，我给它取名为花花花花的胡子很长，有一次我拿爸爸的刮胡刀去给花花刮胡子。妈妈说：花花的胡子不能刮，因为在很暗的地方，她能微微的抽动胡须，才能量出来道路的宽度。哇，原来它的胡子还有这么大的作用啊！我说。
花花非常爱干净，它拉便便也要去上厕所，一个便盆里放了很多煤渣，它每次拉完便便的时候都要用煤渣把便便埋起来。
花花是我的好朋友，每次我有零食都给它分一点，我穿袜子它就在我的脚上蹭来蹭去，我和它一起晒太阳，跟它一起说悄悄话。
这就是我最喜欢的小动物——花花。
