天上下着蒙蒙细雨，雾气弥漫，小岛若隐若现，给万绿湖罩上了一层神秘的面纱，坐上船，站在甲板上，凉风习习，抚摸着肌肤的每一处，舒服极了。远处是一座小岛，被碧绿的湖水环绕着，好似一位婷婷玉立的一位少女．再往前就是水月弯了，因为从上往下看，湖水犹如一轮弯月环绕着小岛．

万绿湖——华南第一湖，因处处是绿，四季皆绿而得名。370平方公里浩淼碧水，库容量139亿立方米，水域壮美，最宽处12公里，亲临其境，有如置身“山中海洋”。100平方公里延绵青山，360多个绿岛屿。她集水域壮美、水质纯美、水色秀美、水性恬美于一身，全国罕见。被誉为地球北回归线“沙漠腰带的东三奇”之一，国家AAAA级旅游区，广东省环境教育基地。
