善意之举虽出自善心却未必有益。材料中的游客便是如此。因出于好心赶走飞来的老鹰，护送小龟爬进大海，然而谁曾想，幼龟是侦察兵，将错误信息带给大海中其他幼龟，困此游客后，幼龟反而面临更大的灾祸。虽为无意之善举却团此酿成大锅，为小龟一族带来更大的.灾难。因此“善举”亦须三思而后行，应顺应生物的生长规律。再思考斟酌该不该出手，而非贸然行“善”。
授人以鱼，不如授人以渔。有些善举虽名日善举，却并非是有益之举，可能会使受善人因此而产生依赖。正地《老子》中所提到的“受人以鱼，不如授人以渔。授人以鱼只救一时之急，授人以渔则可解一生之需。因为鱼只是目的，而钓鱼是方法。一条鱼只能解一时之饥，却不能解长久之饥。想用永远有鱼吃，就得学会钓鱼的方法。因此善举亦须三思而后行。明白对方真正需要的是什么，才能真正做到雪中送炭。
遇事三思终无悔，切莫好心遭错付。《伊索寓言》中一则经典的需言故事便告诉我们这一真理。一个农夫在寒冷的冬天发现一只冻僵的事蛇。因出于善心可怜受冻的蛇，而将它放入怀中，用体内热气来温暖，然而它苏醒后却露出残忍的本性。给农夫带来致命
命的伤害。倘若农夫在遇到蛇的时候能够多三思而后行，明白蛇的本性，意识到可能带来的结果则会免于***身之祸。
真正的善举，应为善意之举，且应对受善人有益而非好心办坏事，因此，“善举”亦须三思而后行，使善举为真善，而非一时之便。
