The two pictures above are both about the relationship between the environment and the economic development. In the first picture, GDP is on the rise while the environment is drastically polluted. In the second picture, economic efficiency progresses with environmental protection. In the early development of socialism, our country didn’t pay much attention to the issue of environmental protection and savored the bitterness. 在学习这场长跑中，我逐渐掉队，变得麻木，浮躁与压抑像一堵高而坚实的墙，将我与一片干净澄澈的天空隔绝。我，不再是最初的那个我，快乐的影子落满了满灰白的尘埃。
我忘却了停下脚步，看看沿途的风景。
天还是以往的天，昨夜的雨水浸润了整个姜堰城，空气中隐约低氲着甜甜的汽水味。而这鲜活充满生命的景色在我的眼中竞又是那么黯淡无光。操场，那个我们拼尽全力，挥洒过汗水的地方，看来是无力的，远处高耸的教学楼项上好似堵压着难以消散的\'乌云。为什么，我开始惧怕，惧怕一场场的竞争。

打着伞，向学校走去，不经意的抬头，我惊奇地发现那棵在冬日之中被寒风摧残地老树竟散开了枝叶。那叶是好看的鹅黄，层层翠绿晕染开来，油嫩得发亮，在细雨中沉醉的姿态美得动人。不知为何，它那依旧笔挺的枝干似乎向我传达着什么。也许是一种力量，一种无谓风雪，野蛮生长，安然美丽的精神。它的枝干虽苍老，一圈圈树纹，一道道被雷电割破的伤疤，都是岁月镌刻下的诗篇，却是遒劲的，难得。望着它，心中竞涌动出一丝久违的悸动。连树木都懂得以一种平常淡然的心态面对生活，面对无法逃脱的苦难，再复杂难熬的日子都能够默默承受，我有什么理由低头?毕竟比起它来，我这点坎坷实在是微不足道。
心存美好，相信明天是一种多么虔诚的信仰。静静凝望，闭上眼，倾听树语。雨还在下，轻微敲打着我的伞，淅淅沥沥的雨声使我从沉思中清醒过来。心从未这么明澈，眼中从未含满这么释然的笑。看了看表，上学来不及了，撑好伞准备走。头顶的一抹蓝，干净，似一汪清水，更似心。走了几步，禁不住回头，冲那棵树一笑，明媚灿烂。
感谢驻足，更感谢那棵老树，给了我最重要的东西。从此，我的生活便有了明艳的色彩。将走过的路装在背包中，再启程。这一次，放慢脚步，停下来，享受美丽。
