有一次，我在楼下遇见了他，就试探着打了个招呼，他友好的和我点了点头，我小心翼翼的问：“大哥哥，你两次高考都失败，为什么还要继续再考？”他微笑着说：“我就是喜欢那所大学，我的奋斗目标就是那所大学，失败了又怎样？为了理想的目标，即使再考十次，我也不会失望，因为我有期盼”。
听了他的话，我很受感动，是啊，有了期盼，心中就有了目标，就有了动力，就有了信心，我的期盼就是在学习上一直名列前茅，在近六年的学习生活中，我也同样遇到到许许多多问题，也有无数次想要放弃，但是因为有了期盼，他给了我勇气和动力，使我朝着理想的目标坚持不懈的努力着、奋斗着，使我做到不达目的誓不罢休，因为有了期盼，我的学习成绩一直名列前茅。

Because the production of a better product to compete for customers' money is the goal of advertisers, customers are thus given a chance to compare their products and get the best and cheapest one. Besides, as the advertisement can provide people with a lot of immediate and detailed information as to the availability of a certain product, or a service or a job, it makes life much more convenient. And another thing we mustn't forget: the fact that we pay so little for our daily newspapers and TV programs is due entirely to the money spent by advertisers.
