作用：可以渲染气氛，表达感情，增强文章的感染力。
抒情的方式有两种：直接抒情和间接抒情。
①直接抒情
就是作者在记叙的基础上直接倾吐自己的感情。
如《最后一课》写韩麦尔先生上了最后一堂课后，在“我”充分感受到了这堂课的与众不同之后，在心底里由衷地发出了这样的感叹：“啊！这最后一堂课，我真忘不了！”表达了内心那种对即将失去的美好事物的留恋之情。阅读时只有把这种感情的依据掌握之后，才能更加深刻地感受到文章所表达的深情。
直接抒情还可以直呼抒情对象，这样抒情显得更亲切、明快，更有强烈的艺术感染力。

②间接抒情
即作者通过叙述描写议论来抒情。作者往往把情感依托于叙事、绘景、状物、说理，在叙事、绘景、状物和说理中抒发感情，也就是寄情于事、寄情于景、寄情于物、寄情于理。在叙事描写议论中渗透着作者的感情，阅读时要注意情景交融、情事结合的内容，从这些内容中去接受美的感染与熏陶。

男孩的家长几天后才发现男孩的古怪。这天，家里正好酱油用完了，男孩正蹲在门外，他父亲叫他买酱油，连叫了几声，没人应，出去一看，发现男孩呆呆地蹲在花盆前，父亲便说：“你蹲在这里干什么?叫你几声都听不见，你心到哪去了?买酱油去!”说着，便递钱给了孩子。
过了很久，男孩还没把酱油买回来，孩子的父亲慌了，忙走出去，一出门，就见孩子还蹲在门口的花盆前，手里捏着他给的钱。孩子的父亲生气了，过去一把扯着孩子的手，呵斥道：“你怎么搞的?叫你去买酱油，你还死在这里?”

It is said that genius only means hard-working all one’s life. But I think combining exertion is the best way for learning.
