The person I admire is my mum. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class.
My mum is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My mum teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. When I’m feeling sad or bad, it is also my mum who looks after me with care.
I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my mum took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 o’clock in the early morning. My mum only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 o’clock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
My mum is not very beautiful, but I admire and love her.

我不是个努力的好学生，我在课上会盯着老师的眼睛看，心里却在想老师已经上了50分钟的课了；在下课我会转过身去，和后排同学一起沉浸在跳跳棋中；在放学后，我会磨蹭到吃完晚饭后才去写作业；我在上课前，不会拿着书乖乖复习，而是看着同桌的本子在努力地抄作业。一切的一切都证明我不是个好学生。
可坏学生也有变成好学生的时候。
因几次考试成绩理想，所以坐上了好学生的宝座。天知道我是怎么考好试的。当好学生也当了不少时日，一言难尽啊。
当好学生甜啊。老师抽考背诵时，不用费劲心思和老师打游击战。即使老师看见了你，你也可以勇敢地和老师四目相对，尽管放心地开小差，完全不用担心被老师抽到背诵。毕竟嘛，背诵是基本功，堂堂的一个好学生怎么可能不会背呢，让好学生起来背诵，简直就等于否定了这个好学生啊。所以老师怎么会抽到好学生呢？可好学生确实不会背，她是一条漏网的大尾巴鱼。
当好学生怪啊。站在黑板前，刷刷几笔，噼里啪啦，知道了吧，这道题是这样解的。赞声响起的同时，掌声也响起来了。也对啊！好学生说的话怎么会有错，怎么可能会错？好学生是经过层层严厉的审核，最后送到老师那儿认准的。谁敢质疑好学生，那就是在质疑老师，那是不敬的，小心被扣操行分。好学生准每错，鼓掌。下课，对不起，那到题我不理解，你能再讲一遍吗，好难懂。晕啊，既然难懂，鼓掌干吗还鼓那么大声，存心想气我啊？当好学生苦啊！征文来了，好学生，上！竞赛来了，好学生，上！放心啊，只要有好学生在，就没有写不出来的文，就没有解不开的`题。好学生，多优秀的人才啊，多认真的人啊！如果连好学生都办不了，那还有谁可以？好学生，应付这方面的经验多得比南极的冰川还高。只要稍稍一动脑筋，所有的问题就都迎刃而解，比班级的母亲还母亲，替班级挡下所有的苦，所有的累，好学生是读书机器。其实，好学生时时熬夜到11点，只有7个小时的睡眠时间，就为了交差，连作业都还没写完呢。
当好学生累啊！不能骄傲，只能低调，谦虚，要死死地在大家面前压抑住自己的感情。好学生怎么能骄傲呢，骄傲的就不是好学生。低调，谦虚才是好学生的秉性。骄傲使人自满，骄傲的好学生的学习成绩会下滑的，到时候，连老师和家长都不放在眼里，那还怎么行？谦虚的好学生才是真正的好学生，不会一取得一点成绩就沾沾自喜，这才是大家的榜样。每当没人的时候，好学生都会说，今天表现不错，要好好犒劳犒劳自己。

If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.
The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people say, I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so, and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would cultivate courage. Nothing is so mild and gentle as courage, nothing so cruel and pitiless as cowardice, says a wise author.
We too often borrow trouble, and anticipate that may never appear. The fear of ill exceeds the ill we fear. Dangers will arise in any career, but presence of mind will often conquer the worst of them. Be prepared for any fate, and there is no harm to be feared.
