比赛英语作文的目的【一】

Everyone may encounter a scene when he or she wonders what the meaning and purpose of life is. Answers to this question vary from person to person. As for me, I agree with the view that the meaning of life is to discover your gift and the purpose of life is to make the best of it.

On one hand, one's gift could be the source of his inner happiness, providing spiritual impetus and correct orientation. Take the world-renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang as an example. His gift was noticed before he was 3 years old, which laid the foundation of his glorious life. On the other hand, proper use of talent helps people to realize their value in a positive way, thus making contribution to the society as a whole. For instance, Isaac Newton made a universally amazing discovery by digging into his gift and finding the Newton's law of gravitation.

In conclusion, let's search for our true gift and utilize it to the fullest to achieve a happy and valuable life.

每天放学后，老师和妈妈不厌其烦的教导我，该如何比动作、语调…过了许久，我的耐性随着时间的流逝一点一点消失，开始耍起脾气来，但在妈妈的鼓励之下，我的'耐心又渐渐的回来了。在她们的指导下，我站到讲台上，展现我努力的成果，表演完之后，如雷的掌声响起，虽然这只是在班上做的小型演讲，但我还是觉得很有成就感。

终于，要开始比赛了，我是第七号的参赛者，看着前面大家都咬字清晰，动作丰富，我的心就像挂了十五桶水般，七上八下。轮到我上台时，不安及恐惧像跳蚤一样，悄悄爬满我全身，我带着正在颤抖的双脚，走上讲台，开始说我的故事。看着台下几百个观众，我全身僵硬，不知该如何是好，这时我想起了老师和妈妈辛苦的指导，不断的鼓励……，“不行！我必须重拾信心。”我在心中吶喊着，为了不辜负她们的用心，我的四肢慢慢的恢复了知觉，比出了完美的动作。

故事接近尾声了，咦？铃声怎么还没响？是我讲得太快了吗？犹豫间，悦耳的铃声立刻响起，像潺潺流水一样，轻轻滑过耳边，我心中的石头也放了下来，说完之后，又传来一阵如雷的掌声。不久，成绩当场公布了，场内安静的连一根针掉到地上都听得到。“第一名，五年二班许芳芒！”顿时，大风呼呼，好像在为我欢呼，阳光闪耀，好像在对我微笑，我两步并做一步的跑上讲台，光荣的领取奖金及奖状，“妈！老师！我做到了！”

这次难忘的，不仅让我克服了上台的恐惧，也让我知道，美丽的花朵，只由成功的人摘收；漂亮的玫瑰，只对胜利的人绽放！

In contemporary society , many young people enjoy taking big , but they always can’t finish anything . Because details decide success or failure . If we don’t start from the minor matters , only do the big things , we may get nothing in the end . So do the small things first , and then , we can finish something perfectly without wasting our unnecessary energy .

As far as I’m concerned , doing small things first is very important .
