他有些哽咽的对我说：“你要好好学习，姥姥要走了，姥姥以后都没有机会再说这句话了，姥姥真的好舍不得你，姥姥真的好希望能永远陪着你，看着我的小宝贝慢慢长大！”一刹那，我的心仿佛被撕裂的疼痛，我不知道该说什么，只能任眼角的泪水在脸上肆意的倾泻。
可是，没想到那竟成了姥姥的诀别，我再回去时他却已不在，以前，姥姥经常将“要好好学习啊！”挂在嘴边，但那时的我却不知珍惜，只有在失去时，才发现他的重要。

“宽以待人”即宽容地对待别人，多发掘欣赏别人的优点。只有如此，才能发字内心地热爱民众，即儒家所提倡的“仁”，和墨家所阐释的“兼爱”。
孔子将“恕”归结为儒家要义之一，劝说人们原谅他人的过错，包容他人的缺点。我们身边经常有这样的人，今天抱怨这个人太小气，明天又说那个人目中无人，以致于弄得人际关系紧张。因为他不懂得宽恕别人，看人只看到别人身上的缺点，当然就无人可入其眼。试问天下又有谁是十全十美的吗？经常义正词严地指责别人难道就能说明你身上缺点很少？恐怕事实恰好相反。
进一步来说，如果一个人经常欣赏别人的`优点，那麽在他眼里则天下无一人不可爱，又哪会心生怨恨呢？东坡流放岭南之时，曾与化外人比邻而居。但他看不到他们的粗鲁，而只看到他们的豪放和不拘小节；看不到他们的不知礼仪，而只看到他们的自然率真。故虽生活艰苦而能得邻里多方援助，结交到不少好友。所以懂得欣赏别人的人总是乐观愉快，兼怀仁爱之心。
“宽以待人”是最好的为人处世之道，它令人旷达无忧。
