我们家很通风，正所谓秋高气爽。主要是因为安装了20个防盗窗。站在三楼要比在一楼凉爽。
大厅和厨房的布局都很好，大厅里有一张很大的饭桌，整齐地摆着四张椅子，供我们一家四口起居饮食。正对着桌子的是一张桌子。其能容纳四个人坐在上面。供奉神灵的桌子是中式的。我最欣赏的就是它的.手工很精细。在桌子中间有一个神主牌。它的上面用龙、凤来装饰，显得格外有气派。在桌子旁有一个茶柜，同时也是一个书柜。因为它上面是用来饮茶，下面是用来装书。真是一物二用的好材料。厨房里布局也不差。当炒菜的时候，在锅的上面有一个窗，用来吸烟，就算这个吸不到烟也不怕，在厨房的隔壁有一个天台。里面有很多盆栽 。用来净化油烟是大有用处的。厨房里除了天台的门。还有一个门，这个门是通向公路的。
虽然我的家并不算什么金銮大殿，不过，每当人们进了去，没不感到回到家一样亲切、一样舒适。太阳出来了，阳光映衬着我的家，就像一座大殿，把阳光反射到各处，使人们感到耀眼，使我感到它是座落在横岗的一座大城堡。
