儿子，爸爸和你都忘不了那年中考前二十天晚上放学后的那场车祸。当爸爸被交警急促的电话叫到现场的时候，当爸爸得知骑车正常行驶的'你被撞断左胳膊尺骨和挠骨的时候，心如刀割一般。中考临近，面对飞来横祸，憋屈和愤怒一度差点儿让我失去理智。而当时正好是周末，预约手术最早也得等到周一，看着你忍受着巨大的痛苦等待了将近三天，起居饮食，样样艰难；爸爸寸步不离地陪伴着因疼痛变得有些暴躁的你。手术后二十天，当埋着钢板、打着石膏、挎着胳膊的你走进呼市35中考场的时候，作为父亲，忽然间，为有这么一个坚强的儿子感到骄傲和自豪！
有时候,灾难也是人生最好的老师。中考之后，你到呼市铁路第一中学上高一，为了便于养伤和学习，我们在学校附近租了房子。去年放寒假的时候又做了二次手术，取出了埋在左胳膊里的钢板，全家人都松了一口气。上高中以后的你也很争气，今年的期中考试还取得了全班第六名的成绩，全校排名也由入学时的五百多名上升到现在的二百六十多名，对你的人生我们也有了新的期望……
你曾不止一次的和我提到了自己的人生目标，希望将来上个好大学，至少要读到研究生。我想和你说：你已经是大人了，未来的路靠你自己走，你完全有能力把握自己，不需要我们絮絮叨叨了。你只要将来活得愉快，活得有尊严，活得有价值，在社会上有用武之地，我们就满足了。
