记叙文的“点题”，有人称之为“画龙点睛”。既然是“点睛”，就应该有“一点即飞”之功力。你如果没有这成功力，在“点睛”时唠唠叨叨，颠三倒四，就不是在“点”“龙之睛”了，而是在描“熊猫眼”了。
“点睛”之笔是叙事火候达到lOO℃时的一次升华，它贵在精辟，贵在简明扼要，不需要你再去婆婆妈妈地诠释和论证。在记叙文写作中，这种内涵上的诠释和逻辑上的论证，都应该是通过记人叙事来承载和昭示的。你如果在“点睛”处还大段地诠释和论证，就在向议论文的方向“滑翔”了，这就犯了记叙文写作的大忌——文体不清。
记叙文的“点睛”之笔，应以惜墨如金为上，以“一语惊醒梦中人”为妙。为此，我们广大同学应练就“以少少许胜多多许”的金手指，只有这样，我们在“点题”时才能收“以一当十”“四两拨千斤”之效。
在记叙文《圣诞书签》中，一个学习资料推销商在圣诞节到各教室送了一叠书签，但只够两人一张，班里一个活跃分子自告奋勇在每张学桌上发了一张，“我”先下手为强，抢到手中，真是爱不释手。不善言辞的同桌借阅，被“我”一句话呛了回去，但随后“我”便懊悔起来，于是有了下面的一幕：
我感觉自己好卑微，礼让何在？同桌之情何在？我忙撕下一张纸工整地写道：“圣诞快乐！”附在书签上一起送至同桌面前。他先是一愣，接着开心地笑了，我也笑了，感觉自己仿佛也成了一位圣诞老人。
文末的这句“感觉自己仿佛也成了一位
圣诞老人”，虽然只有区区15个字，却将本文的主旨从个人喜好升华为同桌深情，将“受惠者”升华为“施爱者”。卒章显志，虽则一句，但胜却万语千言，无尽之意，尽含其中。
上述“三宜”旨在“开前门”，正面引领；“三忌”旨在“关后门”，反面警示。我们坚信：你只要能让最适当的人，用最适当的方式，在最适当的篇幅里去“点题”，就一定能使记叙文写作更加“给力”，更加“抢眼”。
