Beloved father:

It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.

I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.

On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.

In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

今天我看了几组漫画，这些漫画中引起了我的深思，让我真正的领悟到溺爱是一种过错。

图一中讲的是一个小孩儿在玩儿他突然觉得没有意思，就吵着让爸爸做他的马来骑，爸爸无奈地答应了他，孩子骑在了爸爸的背上，还找来了一个小绳子敲打着爸爸的头。

图一中正准备吃晚饭，可是孩子吵着怎么也不吃，妈妈拿起勺子喂着小孩儿，爸爸在一边坐着，小狗小猫的动作来逗孩子开心，小孩子吵着不吃饭，把脚还伸到餐桌上，还把饭打翻了。

图三中是爸爸带着小孩儿在马路上散步，孩子看见了路旁的玩具店，就非吵着让爸爸去给买玩具，爸爸不同意，可是小孩儿哭着喊着拉着爸爸。

图四中是爸爸在家看报纸，觉得后边有什么东西。他回头一看，是孩子的卷儿，卷上只有2分孩子把卷子插在了长长的.竹竿上，防止爸爸打他。

这几幅画都表现同一个主题，那就是溺爱。

生活中这种溺爱到处可见，老舅家的小哥就是一个很好的例子。早饭只要不合胃口，他就不吃，无论家里人怎么劝他都没有用，老舅怕他在学校学习没有力气，正在长身体的时候，只好经常在外面给他买好吃的，小哥抓到了老舅的弱点，这下子天天都不在家吃早饭了，除了在外边吃就是老舅给他钱。

这种不适当的爱恰似一把残酷的剪刀，爱不应是蜜罐，不应是保险箱，父母们放开手吧，别让爱成为一种过错，别让爱成为我们悔恨的眼泪。

可能由于生活在农村吧，小时候父母的关爱也还算平常，所以以前每次阅读有关独生子女娇生惯养，父母过分溺爱之类的批判文章，也总觉得那离我太远，而且竟也觉得没什么。

后来读高中了，寄宿在离学校不远的一处人家，那家人还算敦厚热情，其中有个约六、七岁的小女儿，全家人几乎视其为掌中宝，然而其中的苦楚也是道不尽的，至少从旁观者的角度来说，我是这么认为的。

记得我六七岁的时候，怎么说也能帮父母扫扫地，洗洗碗，偶尔还喂喂猪。而我们这个小公主呢？连盛饭这类小事也得奶奶担着，甚至还要让奶奶给一口一口地喂。有时奶奶一点不顺她的意，她便大吵大闹，而且还污言秽语，可那老人家呢？什么都依着她，偶尔的打骂也是不疼不痒。

如果不是亲眼所见，我决不会相信现实中还有如此滑稽的一幕。全家人都围着小公主转，要吃面包，爷爷便表现出身先士卒的大气，我去买，说着便冲出去，那身子骨还真一点也不服老！要吃苹果，奶奶立马给拨，后来又改要吃炒饭，母亲二话没说，便奔向厨房。等等这一切，我都看在眼里，笑在心里。

但是这一幕幕情景不得不让我深思，咀嚼。小小年纪便污言秽语，而且对象还是疼爱自己的奶奶，实在令人愤怒！然而退一步想，小公主如此另类的言行难道是凭空而来的吗！家长在这方面还是有不可推卸的责任。小公主的未来实在令人担忧，我不知道家长的溺爱最终将把她引向一条什么样的路。当然，毕竟人事无常，世事难料，我对小公主的未来也不敢妄加任何悲观的批判。但是家长的溺爱给孩子造成的不良影响确确实实是不容忽视的。现如今，随着计划生育的推广，独生子女也越来越多，家长过分的溺爱也几乎成了中国家庭的一种通病；其显现出来的一系列的问题也越来越为社会所关注。

我毕竟还是个学生，所以对很多家长的心态表示不解，难道处处依着孩子，顺着孩子，实行一切包办制就是所谓的关爱吗？我不知道有多少家长真正静下心来思考过这个问题。现代的孩子心理承受能力普遍偏低已是一个众所周知的事实。究其缘由，除了如今物质生活提高了，孩子苦难的际遇也少了外，很大程度上还是来自于父母的过分溺爱。试问，成天浸泡在蜜糖里，像躲在窝里的小鸟，经受不到半点风雨的洗礼，又怎么能练硬自己的翅膀，去迎接更大的挑战呢？

望子成龙，望女成凤的心并不意味着一味地给予，一味地放纵。我觉得作为父母都应该有一点的自省，与其庸俗于溺爱自己的孩子，倒不如想想如何为孩子创造一丝锻炼自我的机会。

这一幅画叫做“慈父”，它画的是一位父亲想要满足孩子要骑马的愿望趴在一个摇椅上，头上戴着一个马头模子，孩子便骑在他的背上，手里拿来着一根长长的鞭子，抽打着父亲，还用一根缰绳使劲勒着父亲，孩子像一个刚打完胜仗的大将军似的，开怀大笑。而父亲却在脸上露出了痛苦的表情，可是为了让孩子玩的痛快，父亲一起坚持着。而这样只会让孩子养成只知道以自己为中心。

要是太溺爱孩子，只会害了这个孩子，而不是爱孩子。有句话说得好：“过分溺爱带来的是孩子的无情。

而且，我还看到了一条这样的消息，有一个大学生在小时候都是家长给他剥鸡蛋皮，自己不会剥鸡蛋皮。在上大学的时候，他吃鸡蛋时，不剥皮就吃，回家的时候，家长问他：“学校的伙食好不好吃？”可他却说学校的鸡蛋与家里的鸡蛋的味道不一样……

这些都是溺爱的危害实例，我只想告诉各位家长，溺爱孩子实际上是害了孩子，并不是爱他们的`表现。

要知道：严是爱，骄是害！在生活中不要太顺从孩子，要学会对孩子说“不”。
