He looks after me well. The weather has been cold, he calls me to put on the clothes.

今天是大年三十，爸爸妈妈邀请了许多客人来吃年夜饭，他们忙碌着准备菜肴——鸡鸭鱼肉样样齐全，还有各种蔬菜。快看，我家的烹饪大师——“王大厨”(爸爸来了。只见他右手拿着炒锅，左手拿着勺子，走进了厨房。先炒蒜末，然后放入木耳，最后把银耳放进去抄。
顿时，厨房里传出噼噼啪啪的爆炒声，同时也飘散出了阵阵清香。爸爸把各种各样的肉变着花样做出各种各样的菜，我给这些凉菜、热菜分别取了好听的名字：百花争艳、芙蓉水上漂、莲子鸡汤、水果沙拉……光听这些名字你肯定也早就口水流了三千尺吧!
这时屋外也响起了噼里啪啦的鞭炮声。屋里屋外这热闹的景象混合在一起，像一首正在演奏的交响乐。过了一会儿，客人们陆续来了：有堂姐一家，有表弟一家，有表姐一家，还有外公外婆……我们立即向大人们拜年：“新年好!”大人们可高兴啦，连忙掏出红包。大约过了几十分钟，开始吃年夜饭了。
于是大家围坐在桌子前，斟上满满的一杯酒，互相祝福。除了丰富的菜肴以外，而且还有一道传统的点心——饺子，这让我想起去年表弟为了吃到有硬币的饺子，吃坏了肚子，我可真担心他又吃坏了肚子，就吃不到其它好吃的了。
