在暑假里，爸爸妈妈带我去北京玩。他们告诉我北京是我国的首都，是闻名世界的古都，也是一座现代化的大都市。
说北京是“古都“，是因为他保存着明、清时候的古代建筑，它们有故宫、颐和园、天坛、圆明园。十三陵等等。我去了故宫和颐和园。参观故宫的人太多太多了，其中有很多小朋友，还有很多外国朋友。故宫很雄壮，它是皇帝办公和休息的地方，里面有雕龙的宝座，还有玉做的花瓶等。我想仔细看，可是人太多了，最后我到了御花园，那里都是长了几百年的柏树、松树，还有亭子、假山和荷花池，里面有鲜艳的荷花和小金鱼。
还有闻名世界的长城。在月球上能看见地球上的唯一建筑就是长城。它有6000多公里长，它是防止敌人侵略我们的军事建筑。爬长城可累了，我想古代的人还要搬石头建长城多难呀。
我去的现代建筑有科技馆、电视塔、动物园、海洋馆。我最喜欢的是科技馆和海洋馆。在科技馆里有很多科学发明，比如说有机器人音乐会，有歪斜的屋子，还有隐身房。最好玩的是动手做玩具，听讲解员说原理，我还亲自做了一个小羊。我还看了动感电影。因为戴了立体眼镜，电影里的恐龙好象真的一样向我扑过来，小朋友都吓得尖叫起来。哦，对了，还有环球电影，我看得头昏眼花。
海洋馆里有各种各样的鱼，里面有鲨鱼馆，海豚馆。有一个小朋友拿着小海豚，大海豚朝她游过来，姿式非常优美。在一条隧道里，我的身体好象是在发光一样，这是因为墙壁用了紫外线的涂料。
我们走的时候，和妈妈姐姐去了电视塔。我们站在最高的地方看北京，北京城可美了，可大了，以后我也要到北京读大学，可以更好地了解北京了。我还要带上我的小羊回北京。
