冬季长跑运动会开始报名了，老师点了几员长跑健将的名字，“陆小娟、陆振宇，800米的项目很快“名花有主”了，可还剩一个1500米的项目没有人报。 “谁跑1500米啊？”老师一连问了三遍，可教室里一片沉默。说真的，体育课上，我们最怕老师叫我们跑800米，因为我们每次都跑得气喘吁吁的，跑完一次，小命都觉得丢了一半，谁愿意跑1500米呢？蔡老师用失望的眼光扫视了一边教室。“真没有人报1500米吗？”她无奈地问。“老师，我报！”一个不是很响亮却很坚定的声音从我同桌嘴里传出。“你，行吗？”蔡老师吃惊地问道。“我在四年级时做过运动员的。”于是，蔡老师就把这项艰巨的任务交给了我的.同桌下课了，我带着一丝嘲笑的口吻对曹亚斌说：“曹亚斌，就你那熊样，还能跑1500米？我看你还是趁早弃权吧。”曹亚斌拍拍他那并不宽大的胸脯，信心十足地对我说：“梁云，你可别小看我哦！我一定会为班级争光的，咱们骑驴看唱本――走着瞧。”我心里想：曹亚斌，我才不相信你呢！爱出风头，到时候看你跑不完1500米怎么办？
那天报名完后，曹亚斌就开始了训练，每天早上和傍晚，他都跑得满头大汗。比赛的日子终于来了，曹亚斌与其他选手站到了起跑线上。我一看，心里寒了半截，那些选手个个是“牛高马大”，比曹亚斌高出了半个身体。“哎，曹亚斌呀曹亚斌，我叫你别逞能，你偏要。这下，不听老人言，吃亏在眼前了吧？”可曹亚斌却显得那么从容，那么镇定，做了一下准备活动后，，就昂首挺胸地站在那，双手摆出了起跑的姿势，
枪声响了，运动员们像离弦的箭，冲了出去。果然不出我所料，一圈后，曹亚斌就落到了最后。但他的脚步仍是那么有力，不紧不慢地跟着大家跑着。两圈后，运动员的速度明显减慢了。“呀，曹亚斌已经超过一个人了。”我兴奋地大喊。“曹亚斌加油！曹亚斌加油！”我们班的同学开始拼命为曹亚斌喊加油。关键的最后一圈了，曹亚斌已经跑得满脸通红，他的腿像灌了铅，步子越来越小。但他看到在前面不远的对手后，居然放大步子，冲刺起来。在到达终点前三秒，还超过了一名选手。“曹亚斌好样的！”班头蔡老师兴奋地抱住了他。
那次，曹亚斌得了第四名，得到了宝贵的“6分”，为我们班立下了汗马功劳——我们班是团体总分第二！
